Glitz Pit honestly could have its story be a whole game. A tournament where Mario battles through the ranks with partners to uncover what the host’s intentions like SNK’s tournament franchise The King of Fighters. But I guess it would be easier to keep it as a chapter so that the suspense doesn’t wear off in the waiting time between each plot event. That’s what makes The Thousand Year Door amazing. Like Kirby Super Star Ultra, you’re playing multiple stories in one package.

You can, although they're only really worth it for a few sections that are particularly long, and they can be fiddly with small felt - so I tend not to bother!
