There were companies that used to make switches for airsoft Glocks and it’s incredibly illegal to notify everyone that they worked on regular Glocks.

Because they definitely didn't, yes, why would they? Right? Toy parts wouldn't work on a firearm, pfffft, yep That never happened, parts aren't interchangeable, they definitely couldn't be between toys and firearms (that's supposed to be a joke, before anyone jumps at it)

@@Schrodingers_kid it’s odd that they were made with all metal components and they worked on both toy and real Glocks. Odd. It’s incredibly illegal to notify anyone that enough internet searching will result in finding some or at the very least 3d print instructions.

@@donnyboi1990it’s probably more so about how sellers on websites say “for airsoft” when selling accessory parts, due to most sites not allowing anything for real firearms. It’s a loophole

@@carsonhunt4642I almost want to side with you more so because Christmas of 22 my nephew who is 11 is into airsoft but also the phase where kids play dress up adults call it larping and he has a few Glock airsoft & he wanted an American Flag back plate which my stupid SIL bought him(along with a LV3 Safariland Holster bc I knew she doesn't know anything about pews I simply asked her if she got the correct model to which she replied you don't know what your talking about their all the same we unwrapped said present to find she bought one for a Sig 226 & explained how she wasted $250+ for a toy and imagination and it takes training to use a LV3, though my nephew likes imagination playing outside which is better than screens but he didn't need a "real duty holster" one that didn't fit his airsoft & one he couldn't draw from she bought him a 226 & I mod'd holster ) but back to the back plate it took me almost 2hrs to modify it so it would fit the G17 Airsoft as with many parts they aren't interchangeable. Though not for Airsoft I think like Carson mentioned that the seller probably put it in said ad for liability purposes like the "CLP Oil can adapter" or the picture frame mounts. I am not a lawyer so I can & have been wrong before but I though there was a law or regulation in regards to toys or replica's that they can't accept parts made for real pews almost like blanks though someone alot smarter than me probably has figured out how to convert them. Lastly not to go on a rant but I won't lie more so from doing a certain job where I have come way to close (which tech would be justified) but the stress that it causes is a lot worse, as u can buy "toys" either with no brightly colored tips or ones easily removed(I bought one from Amazon for a class) & before anyone says it with paint jobs and mods if someone were to point an object even if it looked like a toy it's getting treated as real till it's deemed safe I forget the dept & not OPSEC as the media posted it after we got the safety bulletin but someone figured out a certain shotty fit perfectly inside a toy and if I remember correctly the same person had other "toys" they were able to conceal real pews into. Though due to a severe injury I don't do that job anymore but the toy I bought off Amazon besides being SAO it looked, functioned with fake cases. I use it for safety classes like which one is real which is fake. Not sure if still on YT but there was a PD that put reporters in immersion Simulator, the reason I mention it is bc how many times they made wrong choices but it gave them a slight glimpse into the mili-sec a trained person has.
