I've been purchasing tools slowly. Found a table top bandsaw on clearance at harbor freight for $99.00 last paycheck. Gonna build a table for a jobsite circular saw and find a decent low cost saw. Drill press would be right after that. I'm getting a lot of ideas from your videos. The wife actually ran across your videos while looking for videos on resin. I'm a little old to be just getting into woodworking, but it's great to see something I'm building take shape. Keep the videos going. KZbinrs are really helping take the fear out of starting new hobbies that can eventually turn into businesses.

I agree fully with almost everything you said but one thing. You're never too old to learn something new! Unless you free dementia, but otherwise you're never too old. I have a friend in his early 60s that always wanted to learn how to weld but never did and said he didn't want to spend money on it because he's too old. So I bought him one of the cheap welders off Amazon, was under $200 and did everything he needed for learning. He combined that with the knowledge he's gained working his entire life in different jobs, ranging from sewer technician (or whatever the job title was, he didn't go too much into what he did, mostly talked about the smell lol) to long hall trucking to working for the city on maintenance crews and got himself a great job doing maintenance at a bottling facility. You've got this! Just remember to have fun!

I really need to use my time here to wood work. I've access to massive amounts of free wood, really should take advantage.

I have been buying these return boxes for a while now. Love how they claim that the cost is this, but when you total it up it is not even close usually. Also the other things is that so many of the items are just trash and need to put in the dumpster, it is difficult to believe the total cost.. Love the way you do this.

I absolutely love that your unscrewed channel, unlike some of the other "uncut" ones that cropped up at the same time, posts like clockwork and full videos. Not just little "repeat of full-length main channel" shorts. I know when I get up Sunday morning for work, I have you guys to look forward to. Thanks, you guys!!! As far as who I favor for this race, I love John's loud boisterous ways, but you have to admire Sam's luck, and Joe is just a bit quiet. Sorry I can't pick. 🤪

Morning, I’m 79.. a great drill press, will help me to help others, mine is not a floor model with a new one. The one I have will be given to a person that really needs it too…. your show is very entertaining. Just got off of COVID-19 and getting ready to go back and clean up the garage so my tools I can use when I was younger. I realize that I’m going to need tools that I could handle when I got older and that is what happened.. I got old. Wish I lived closer to you so I could visit and watch you guys work. You got a great team your friend Carl.

oh hey, John.... Guy-who-had-many-shoulder problems here... Im 8-months post-shoulder surgery. I had a full slap/labral tear with rtc repairs, a bicep tenodesis, and a acromial decompression all in one go. currently 100% recovered at the moment. Until i had it, it was always problematic (years) and on a graph would consistently get worse. Honestly, if you already got the cortisone injection, you may wanna opt for the arthroscopic surgery. its 3mo hard downtime, and 13 weeks min. pt but the quality of life, afterwards dude... sum sum to think about- it really sucked a lot the first few days and first month

My sister gave me a 2 car garage for Christmas, so I scraped and bought used stuff... Last night I was cutting some walnut on this terrible table saw.. well I think it is dead. Haven't had it more than a week 🤬 🤣 I am having a blast though. I've got some hysterical videos of what not to do. Love your stuff!! I have one of those cheap tool boxes. It does the job as long as you're not worried about theft. The two bars is how you secure the drawers in the top part of the box.
