I was bullied in elementary and high school and I always lacked self esteem.I considered myself ugly and I tried very hard to look beautiful by buying a lot of makeup, skincare and haircare products.Of course a lot of people told me I was beautiful but I didn't believed them, not because I didn't want or that I craved attention, but simply because my brain was wired to think that I was ugly due to the bullying.Also, seeing a lot of photoshopped models and women in social media didn't help at all. So let me tell you how I kinda get over it:I realized that a lot of people are too busy to care or to judge you.You think your nose is too big/crooked/small?I guarantee that you are mostly the one that thinks that way and a lot of people simply don't care or don't notice unless you point it out.Same goes for everything else.Oh, and another thing that helped me:just sit and think for a moment:"when was the last time I saw someone with ugly hair/face/body?2 days ago?one week ago?and did I truly care?did my mental opinion affect that person in any way?".And after you say that either out loud or in your mind, you'll start to realize that this is how most people think about you.

You're right, people don't care. But also, everybody's perception of beauty is different. It's true there are always some popular opinions about what beauty is but in the end it doesn't mean it's everybody's opinion. And don't forget that people we are trying to "please" by our look are also imperfect. We are imperfect yet people still fall in love with each other. ❤️

Girls, just sharing a few hacks that have changed my life: 1. High-waisted skirts - they are flattering for any body type, suitable for anywhere anytime (weekends/office/party/school). High-waisted skirts, shorts or jeans are basically all I wear now, and they always make my short legs look longer than they are (lol). 2. Apply loose powder after foundation - helps makeup stay on 1.5 times longer, a godsend for oily skin, less makeup smearing off under your mask. 3. Preventing eyeliner from smearing on eyelids - apply a thin layer of light nude eyeshadow/powder over your lids as a base, before you apply your eye makeup. 4. Start moisturising, using eye creams, and sunscreen, once you start working in your early 20s - many people have commented I still look really young (not bragging)

And for the record my tummy isn't even flat rn, but you don't even need to pair them up with a crop top, just a tight top will do and it shows off your waist and hips. But ofc it totally depends on your body shape and proportions.

Totally agree with geetika and loon, even as a fellow high waister. Yes of course there's a point where your weight is unhealthy or even harmful. And so it's hard be confident or feel comfortable in that body. Loosing weight and keeping it off can help in those cases. But there are a lot people who can never be skinny or even average weight. Cause of many chronic reasons. Something to consider. If that's the case,then after regular exercise and a nutritious diet that u can afford,the rest is not your responsibility. Leading a healthy life and being comfortable in ur body really helps with your general beauty. Of course to understand your own dietary needs,what kind of activity or exercise interests you etc of this can take different amount of time for different people. So it's ok to feel down sometimes. @𓄹 🌷 𝓘𝓼𝓪 𓏲 Unpopular opinion: what men find attractive is the gauge for a healthy body weight for women. Men are literally hard wired to find healthy women the most attractive, which is why most men do not find obese, overweight, or extremely skinny women attractive. Important note, most men also do not find very muscular women attractive because they do not have enough body fat to have a successful pregnancy (a lot of really athletic women don't even get their periods which supports this idea). Extremely skinny women also often have the same problem. I know many women love to hate men and everything they do and think, but this is literally an inescapable fact of nature. You'll be a lot happier if you can accept this and get yourself to a healthy place.

Thank you for the video! This channel has the best beauty tips on youtube. I'd add that while we can all see people with certain features are beautiful, attractiveness is subjective and this is the part of beauty we can influence the most. It's basically the vibe you're giving. I can see all idols are pretty but only a few of them are attractive to me. There are idols who don't fit my 'type' but because of how they present themselves, my eyes are automatically drawn to them. Even if my 1st reaction is 'not my type', my 2nd reaction is 'attractive' because this person makes me look at them. Generally, people are attracted to confidence and it's true in my case, even if a person is not my type, if they're confident and feel great in their skin, I'll find them fascinating and attractive. Face proportions are great for 1st impression but you need more than that to keep the attention on you for longer than a few minutes. After all, who sits with a measuring tape and checks the bone structure while talking to others? So guys, listen to dear peachie tips, find what works for you and don't be scared to show who you are. If you love yourself, others will find you loveable. If you present yourself as attractive, others won't question it. Good luck!

Im soooo glad that i found this video. I have been searching years and years for a video like this to make a blueprint on the things i need to improve. All the other videos are just either the "glow ups" in which people just wear nicer clothes and do better makeup. And i also liked the fact that this video promoted health more than anything, and tells a person what makes them look attractive. I also liked the fact that it told that beauty is the power to attract other people (as a first impression ofc). An amazing video, thanks alot!

I love your videos! You tell us the reality of how beauty I'd manipulated to make us all insecure in every video you have made. You also help find what is unique to each person and help them improve in a healthy way. Thank you for they thought you have put in to your videos! ❤

This video made me feel so confident! I noticed that a lot of these beautiful celebrities/people have features very similar to mine. They are just more healthier + have an amazing style. All I need to do is to take better care of myself and I’ll look drop dead gorgeous! I hope when I’m older, I’ll be beautiful inside and out.

There is also something that can help with the skin! (It was for me atleast so it can be different for everybody!!!) I used to check my skin everyday in the mirror, and because of that I stressed alot about it. After I stopped doing that it got a bit better day by day. Like I said it helped for me.. it can be different for everyone but what I wanted to say is that you shouldn't stress about how your skin looks like! Take the time you need to get to know it better. For me, it took about a year to actually get to the point where I am now. So just take your time and love yourself because everyone is beautiful!! (Also.. sorry if there are any mistakes, English is not my first language ^^')

skincare that 100% works: - cleanser (if u have acne, i reccomed panoxyl but if that's not in ur country, use any cleanser with benzoyl peroxide) - retinol/retinoid product (i recommend differin bc it's affordable and strong, it literally blurred my pores) - moisturizer - sunscreen (do NOT forget sunscreen bc using retinol without sunscreen will damage your skin) - and when you're not using a retinol product, use an exfoliater with bha or aha (i personally use peach slices exfoliating toner)

Sometimes it’s really weird when you grew up where your look isn’t considered anywhere near the beauty standard and then you may change places and realize you’re sought after, people treat you differently and you don’t know what to do with yourself. Beauty is an investment. If you consider it worth it is completely up to you. I don’t want to judge anyone who doesn’t make it. For me I feel as I’m disabled it literally changes my life if people find me beautiful or not. I like that this channel is basically cracking the code and presents us with the cold hard facts. It’s not magic or good genetics, it’s skill and knowledge and luck.

as a former athlete from a strict all-girls school, i can skip the most bottom part of the glow up pyramid. having good posture was something that was written in our school rule book and we have always made it a habit for 5 years in high school. i have also slowly started learning how to do makeup well according to what suits me since 2 years ago. so my concern is only the styling part because we go to school in uniform, and i also don't usually go out from my house so i rarely buy any clothes 😭
@jean4381 Жыл бұрын
heyy ik this reply is late but theres a few things you can use to make your outfits match and balance out. rule of 12 a plain white T-shirt= 1 Plain corset top= 2/3 corset top with accents on it= 4/5 so the more thats going on with a piece of clothing the higher points it gets (this applies to all the clothes, shoes and accessories that go into an outfit) and the goal is to add it all up so it equals to around 12 (give or take a few) so for example white cropped baby tee=2 lowrise flare jeans=3 white air force ones=2 clothes=7 accessories=5 so you could put on a simple gold bracelet=1 hoop earring's=2 a ring=1 and a simple claw clip=1 bam simple outfit that adds up to 12 nicely balanced. but you can do that with any outfit (the 12 rule isnt a be all end all bc some things are meant to be dressed up more to for events but its a good base line for making outfits) 🫶

My glow up plan includes now excersice to tone up my body and help my posture (to strenghten my back muscles, tone up my thighs, do yoga), started belly dancing to wake up my femininity, found myself couple of signature make ups. Also want to arrange my wardrobe, throw away garments that dont fit me in color or design (dont fit my body shape). Buy few good garments. Also want to really take care of my hair, its completely dull after all the color duying. The one thing i struggle is to get more beauty sleep))

for those of you who have tried every product for acne and nothing seems to work: one thing i almost never see skincare experts talk about is how what we eat affects our skin A LOT. i used to drink regular sodas and juice every day and i had painful cystic acne that either didnt heal or left deep brown scars. at one point while trying to lose weight i started a diet where i ate under 35g of sugar each day. a few months in i noticed i almost never get acne at all, only 1-3 teeny tiny whiteheads usually around when i get my period. not only did my cystic acne go away but i have way less stomach pain and -diarrhea🙈😳- if youre consuming a lot of sugar through drinks its super easy to find sugar free versions of most sodas nowadays (technically diet soda is not the healthiest… but they give you the taste and feeling of sugary drinks without the sugar or the calories, so they help with cravings and sweet tooths). prioritize eating fruits for their natural sugars and avoid unecessary “added sugar” in food products. i also recommend sources of natural protein, like eggs, fish, poultry, tofu, etc, as well as healthy natural fats, like nuts, seeds, avocados, olives, etc. cutting excess sugar and replacing junk food with some of these options will help you glow up from the inside out :)

Adding my own experience to this! I used to have terrible acne and now I'm very close to achieving glass skin (not bragging T.T) and I noticed the exact same foods and drinks were the causes of my acne. Once I stopped consuming soda, caffeine, prepackaged foods and snacks, chocolate spread, cereal, etc and started eating healthier and drinking water, my skin cleared up so fast. I also began a simple skincare routine (nothing expensive, just Neutrogenas anti acne or whatever line) and using an extractor tool to remove my black heads after every shower to prevent acne. I also use a topical antibacterial face cream every night to prevent acne and flareups. Ofc religious sunscreen usage. I've not had a single pimple in years, only dealing with the scars now. If you're a huge sweet tooth like me, instead of buying prepackaged snacks, buy them from a bakery or patisserie. You'll support your local stores instead of some corporation, eat fresh desserts, and eat less because it's so expensive lol

I cola zero still bad? I’m addicted to this and don’t know if it’s what has caused my acne 😭
@eveandaedrul2 жыл бұрын
@@udontevenwannaknowbruv yes, it's still bad because it's a processed food full of ingredients that will cause a breakout
@deanfratricide19002 жыл бұрын
@@udontevenwannaknowbruv try going without it for a few days (or if thats too hard to do all at once reduce the amount you drink by half) and see if theres any changes. from a quick google search i think if coke zero is causing breakouts its from the acidity/pH level or the aspartame. if you notice your skin clears up when you dont drink it, try replacing it with another drink that uses a sweetener other than aspartame, and/or try eating or drinking alkaline foods and drinks to balance the acidity. thats just my non-professional advice for if you notice any changes, if you dont notice anything, or not a significant enough change, then go right ahead and keep drinking if it makes you happy lol

For the people who aren’t the ideal weight, I want to point out that doesn’t really matter because it’s all about proportions. I study fashion and I learned that clothes can make the body look different than it actually is. For people who find it hard to find clothes that fit well, it’s not all in your head. Fashion used to be all hand made as in made to each body type but now with mass commercialization you have to have some size chart. And unfortunately, some body types just aren’t catered to in the average fashion brand. For example, the average bust size in America is larger than a B but most clothes are made with a B sized bust in mind. Therefore, my friends who had bigger busts always had problems in that area and people think they’re “showing off” their boobs but the majority of tops aren’t made for them. I was told I was pretty in all my sizes from size S - 2XL. It’s all about brining out the parts of you that make you smile. Good luck on your glow up guys, I believe in you. ❤

thank you for talking about the body weight thing, in my opinion the best way to go is to just have a balanced diet and exercise regularly and then that'll be your natural most healthy body. the problem comes when people are mean and bully people for being a certain weight, which is messed up and never helps anyone. everyone has a right to feel comfortable in their own body but if you want your body to be healthy, a balanced diet and regular exercise is key, no matter if you're skinny or plus sized.

One advice i'll give to those suffering from acne and bad skin problems is to invest in dermatology visits. It can get expensive but all the products you buy for trial and error is also expensive as well. Also once you and your dermatologist find something that works, in the long run, you'll actually end up using less products in your skincare regime. As your skin heals and look better, i can guaranteed a confidence boost will come.
