@LaCrownedGamer Жыл бұрын
@Sharath Nair it can because if you have a lot of facial fat everything gets wider and plumper. Loosing weight on your cheeks and chin might make you more proportioned and make you nose look larger or smaller ( depending on where fat is deposited) so it's more like the whole facial composition changes with weight loss.

@@emmajean4191 How do I sound like someone who's trying to be smart? I prefaced my comment with "Basically" for a reason. Anyone can understand that a comment like mine contains a dramatic simplification as it is derived from a video that takes much longer to comprehend (seconds vs minutes). I didn't specify what a good hairstyle would be (this video doesn't even delve super deep into that topic) or head position because they vary depending on the person. I clearly stated "clear skin", not "good skin", which is less specific. I wanted to make a short and sweet comment, so no, I was not going to specify the head positions. You have this video provided by Qoves for a reason if you want the details. My comment gives people a clear overview of what this video recommends. My comment is helpful because watching this whole video isn't necessary (other than when it comes to things like specific head positions). Clear skin? Talk to your doctor, research, develop a healthy routine, etc. Good hairstyle? Hit up your barber, find hairstyles that fit your face (this video scratches the surface on some factors that play into which hairstyle fits your face), learn to take care of your hair. My eyebrow and body fat comment? Pretty self explanatory. Notes exist for a reason and clearly, quite a few people found this helpful.

We talking about as long as 2 years and a half of constantly improving my physical appearence slowly overtime adding new things. I used to be 125lbs at 5'10 (Super Skinny). I've been working out for over 2 years now and managed to get to get to 160lbs after bulking and cutting. Working out changes your whole appearence, clothes will look much better on you than other people, you will stand out more, your shoulders and neck widen which is proven to be more attractive.If you have lower body fat your face features can be enhanced such as cheekbones and jawline. I also started a skin care routines about a year ago, using regular things like cleansers, moisturizers, sun screen, and lotion. These things really make a difference and girls will notice your skin being better than other guys which can lead to conversations about your skin care routine. I found the perfect hairstyle for my face which is a messy middle part with around 3.5-5 inches of hair. I also started to shape my eyebrows into a better shape every week. I used minoxidil to get a better beard and grow hair in my patches. This goes along with finding a beard style that suits you as well as mainting it every week. I started to take finastride around 5 months ago to stop hair loss as I noticed I was losing my head hair which has gotten much better now and still improving. I started using contact lenses instead of glasses which show off my eyes better. I also changed my wardrobe to better match my appearence. I forgot to mention I used whitening strips to whiten my teeth and I use lip balms to keep my lips moisturized. It may sound like a lot but I have no problem keeping up with everything.

For people struggling with acne here even with a full skincare of cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and retinol (all of these in my opinion are mandatory other ingridients are extra depending on your specific skin concern), you may notice that you're acne still isn't going away. I reccomend reducing eating dairy, sugar, and unhealthy foods in general. If you can't eat healthy food due to budget issues, reducing dairy and sugar is good too. Dairy is a BIG trigger of acne and reducing it might help clear it. Whey and Casein protein powder had dairy in them so I suggest switching to vegan to reduce dairy intake(do note this tastes awful but try to hold on). Key word, REDUCE. You dont want to develop an eating disorder stopping yourself eating "bad" foods all the time and then proceeding to binge eat and feel awful about yourself. Eat what you love occassionally but not all the time. Also sleep and stress are also factors for acne. Get enough sleep and try to manage your stress. Btw some people dont need 8 hours of sleep, some need 9 or 6 but as long as you sleep at a consistent time (like 11 PM - 7 AM) for a 2 weeks and just adjust if you feel like you dont have enough sleep or you have too much. For stress, I dont know as I'm struggling with this too but going to a theraphist and journaling my thoughts really helps. Good luck to everyone out there!

If salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide have not worked, a simple regimen of unmedicated face wash, moisturiser, adapalene ideally only at night and daily sunscreen could be transformative.

@@4malzahra For your question, I'd say abt 2 - 6 months if you're consistent with exercise, diet etc but that solely depends on your starting weight, gender, height, age. I'm 170cm, female, 19 (I was 18 when I started losing weight) and it took me 2 months to go from 78kgs to 65kgs. Don't. Count. Calories. I'm saying this from my experience, my best friend's experience and my cousin's experience. We ended up with an ED and one of us got hospitalised for it. We started obsessing over how many calories went into our bodies (maybe u think I'm being extreme but it's very easy to develop an ED). Find your maintenance calories and minus 200-300 calories from that. To get a general idea of the calories in your ingredients just Google or look at the package. For example, one cooked slice of bacon is between 38-45 calories. So you know on average what your putting into your body. I'm on a Mediterranean diet which has enabled me to stop counting calories coz I eat veggies, protein, healthy carbs and sugars. So I have 3 big healthy meals a day and some water based snacks like pickles, celery, watermelon, oranges etc. I went from 65kgs to 59kgs in a number of 5 and a half weeks by eating fruits and veggies, drinking 2L of water and (slow) walking for an hour and a half everyday

Everyone's different. For me intermittent fasting works the best. I don't always fast - only if I notice that I've started gaining weight again. When I do fast I only drink water and tea without sugar overnight and during the day. At about 2 to 4pm I'll start eating. Usually a snack. Then I have a large dinner with lots of protein and even snacks and dessert throughout the night, as long as I stop at about 10pm. I find doing it that way extremely effortless and it seems to fit in with what my body intuitively wants to do. If you're extremely hungry in the mornings naturally then you can move the fasting period.

I would love for you to do an analysis on Rosie-Huntington Whitely! She is very obviously beautiful and is one of the best and most attractive Victoria’s Secret models but she has very noticeable eye asymmetry. Her left eye sits significantly higher than her right eye and is easily noticeable but she is still well above average. I’ve wondered if it is because the rest of her features are so beautiful and striking that it overshadows her greater than average eye asymmetry. I’ve often wondered at what point does it significantly affect attractiveness and if some people (like her) can get a pass for very noticeable asymmetry because the rest of their features are so striking that it out shadows even those noticeable flaws.

These are great tips. It would be interesting to see a video on having facial features that aren't typical for your race. I fit every single korean beauty standard except for pale skin and I'm not Asian but I live in a western country. Its kind of hard seeing people fitting the modern western beauty standards across social media knowing you're the odd one out with the polar opposite features. Korean beauty standards are kind of the polar opposite of western ones so I struggle to accept that I am very beautiful based on people's reaction to me, just in a 'different' way.

Korean "beauty standards" are literally a rip off of European fatures. That's where their obsession with oval faces, pale skin, huge eyes (with coloured lenses), poker straightened hair, and high patrician noses comes from. High nose bridge word is literally patrician due to European royalty. Koreans and Asians in general have rounder wider faces and flatter heads, very small narrow monolid eyes where even the iris doesn't show up as a full round (which is why they get enlargement and double lid surgery and wear "circle lenses to have anime round eyes visible) Not a single "Korean" beauty trait is found naturally in 99% of their population without surgery. Cha Eunwoo types are .0001%of their natural population. Rest literally break their whole faces with hammer like Karina and become 90% silicone and fake. Asians are literally known for flatter (not bigger) noses. Also if you're not pale you fail the very first step of "Korean beauty" which is 100% centered around paleness and being "milk white and soft". So you'd be considered a 1/10 in their country and culture with even just brown skin. Get off your delusions and learnt to love what your parents gave you. Nobody in Korea will like you and if you're not tall, light eyed and at least dye your hair light in western hemisphere you're a 4/10 in the west too competing with gorgeous women in the dating pool. Below average in both east asia and the west as their populations would deem you below average if youre not light skinned. You'll only be above avg in your immigrant/nation of origin so find a partner from there and learn to appreciate that your DNA will never be white or East Asian nor will you EVER fit their standards of beauty. You're your own DNA's.

Fan of the evidence based view of aesthetics but should emphasise that correcting underbites/overbites after puberty is absolutely not a "simple" step. Comparing it in simplicity to head tilt or not popping pimples is particularly ridiculous. Orthognatic surgery is far from a simple cosmetic procedure. It impacts some of the most sensitive nerves in the human body, and while it can be associated with life changing functional improvements, the risks of long-term neuropathy and TMD shouldn't be minimised. The total pre and post op care is also significant in terms of time and financial outley (years and 10s of thousands of dollars respectively)

If it's genuinely fat you cannot spot treat it without surgical intervention. If your face is the last place to lose fat this is just your genetics.

@lol69203 Жыл бұрын
You can't target just fat on the face. Estrogen, which females have more of cause rounder faces, as well as your general genetics. The best advice is to start putting on a bit of muscle to get whatever testosterone is in your body flowing and help it produce more.

I actually thought on going on acutane for my acne since I already tried differin. But you know what improved my acne dramatically. It's washing and rinsing properly. I used to get acne on my chin a lot. Since i only washed on the sink but now I wash my face in the shower. It's the same products: oil cleanser and water based clenser. But I rinse wery well and my acne is fading away. I didn't change my diet or products. As I did before I use a form a retinol a few times per week(when I remember, or even less) I just tie my hair very well and cover it, then brush my teeth and then cleanse my face with hydrofil oil then I get in the shoewer and use a gentle face wash not even one with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Now I'm only left with post acne pigmentation.

@CreatingAttractive what makes you think the entire process of receiving orthognatic surgery is straightforward? Most cosmetic plastic surgery is more straightforward but wasn't mentioned here.
@creatingattractive Жыл бұрын
@@DrumsBah severe malocclusion -> only correctable through jaw surgery -> more attractive face as teeth align properly. Thats simple just like overwight -> less defined features -> less attractive. Cosmetic surgery is too gray area because it is up to the patient really to determine what they want. yes, the surgeon consults them, but their interest is to make money as well. They won't turn you down for lip filler even if it doesn't make you more attractive. it is more nuanced and requires more knowledge. Jaw surgery is a simple thing correcting something obvious, your teeth and jaw alignment.

I don’t like the notion that bodyfat is inherently seen as less attractive. That’s honestly just preference. While most people want to have clear skin, a cool haircut and basic hygiene, I don’t think the size of your body plays into that too much (if it’s not too extreme). I know these tips are based on society’s beauty standards but that might also be the issue. Not everyone is into athletic and buff people and this just comes across as a bit fat-shamey. We shouldn’t make women (and ppl in general) feel like they’re only attractive when they’re skinny, since this is the root cause for a lot of self esteem issues, eating disorders and perpetuated by sexism. As mentioned in other comments, being underweight is not sustainable and unhealthy in the long run. Being heavily overweight is dangerous as well ofc, but why aren’t we talking about a normal, mid sized body here? And what about things non-related to appearance? Everyone knows that skinny and pretty is the beauty standard. But it’s just not achievable for a lot of people. When I read Glowup i thought about things like confidence, mental health, self-fulfilment etc. and I’m pretty disappointed. But I guess I just landed on the wrong side of KZbin.
