This event was 🔥🔥🔥. The BS 180 and the Bodyvarial are mind blowing! Big ups to the organizers and all the riders and congrats to Jesse. This definitely pushes the sport in the right direction. Racing can be fun too. But freestyle has sooo much more to offer. IMO this is the future of the sport. Currently it reminds me a bit of early times of other boardsports where it was also more trying than stomping. But that's ok. It's an interesting time right now where the sport has to find itself. The equipment, the riding, and the course has to evolve. Maybe the slope is a bit too steep. Maybe it doen't even need to be all downhill. We need more events like this to find out. But this event already shows what's possible on a onewheel (or Floatwheel or Funwheel or whatever). And if the sport continues to progress like this, the banger tricks of today will eventually become the casual setup tricks of tomorrow.
