To fans of this band, please realize how lucky you are to have this great footage available like this, of what is one of their top songs for sure. An album version or video if this song would be great to see on here too. This band remains largely unknown, and I feel prievalged to have discovered them as a teenager, when they were releasing this music. Unbelievably influential and creative music these guys created.

Great song. The way he sings it and the general vibe/sound of this track is very reminiscent of Echo and The Bunnymen.

I knew Robert at the time, so was blessed to see them at secret gigs in pubs like the late lamented New Merlins Cave.

This was one song from the ABC Australia show called Rock Arena, it was a whole set of about 10 songs. It was an amazing performance, I wish I still had the VHS recording.

One assumes that in the house that Mr.Kerouac built there were only corridors and the propensities of the lady with the violin were well known to Msrs of her acquaintence and if she did it one mor etime.

My absolute favourite Robert Forster moment. From the great Rock Arena gig aired on Tuesday, September 8th, 1987, which I taped back in the day, but no longer have. Here it is for the completists: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGWmiIBmns-epc0

It's a TV audience in a TV studio for a TV program of the time. It wasn't filmed at a GoBs gig in front of eager punters who'd paid to be there. Big difference.

It was as the Astoria and it was packed. Almost certainly sold out, in fact.
