+Jesv Ramone I remember when they first got back together in 1994/95I interviewed Charlotte for the reunion tour for a magazine I used to write for. I remember her being a complete and total bitch the whole time we were talking because she was literally 6 to 7 months pregnant with Astrid, the band started the tour without her and stuck her with all the press interviews. My was she hot!!! I mean.. She was pissed!! It finally took me breaking down and telling her what a huge fan of hers I was and what a hero she was to me that I could not understand why she was being so brash in order to get her to open up. I will never forget that! True story!

They were ok. The praise they receive just because they're women is belittling. They had 3 studio albums with a few hits. For me, Vacation is their best song. Belinda was far more successful as a solo artist than the band itself.

That's because she had other people writing song for her. Even Charlotte wrote songs and produced a few of Belinda's solo albums.

I think they deserve all the praise they get. Only 2 of the girls could even play an instrument when they formed, yet in a period of 2 or 3 years they transformed into proficient professional musicians and songwriters with hit songs still played and sung along to today. I'd say a certain element of society like to forget any of that and twist it into the unfounded insinuation, that, because they were female, and because they didn't follow the traditional route to success, that means they didn't deserve to have any. That certain element seems to be almost exclusively male, and their apparent moral outrage at the bands success ultimately just manifests itself as the blatant misogyny it always was to begin with.
