I always say this: Messi is the only player who can show you things you've never seen before, after 15 years of showing you things you've never seen before. For me it was clear the first time I've watched him. Watched 99% of all games he played in his career and wouldn't trade it for anything. Anyone who has watched him week in week out will tell you, the amount of bad games Messi has played were less than 10 until his season at PSG. Even his worst season is a career highlight for others. He is the closest thing to magic for me, and nobody will ever come even close to 10% of Messi's quality.

I think the goat debate was already over when Messi was 24 years old, seeing him do the amazing things he did and to have 3 ballon d'ors and 3 champions league trophies only at the age of 24 made him a goat.
