Welcome to the rational brain.
This is the most common river crossing riddle.
A farmer was returning from the city to his village. The farmer had bought a fox, a goat and a cabbage for his family. There was a 50 m wide river in his path to his village. Fortunately a small boat was on the city side of the river. But here is the problem. The farmer calculated and found out that the boat could support only one more weight other than himself. Also, if he leaves the goat and the fox at any end alone, the cunning fox will kill the goat. On the other hand if he leaves the goat and the cabbage at any end, the hungry goat will eat the cabbage. How will he cross the river with all his belongings?
Can you find your own?
