It’s actually a legal reason because weapon manufacturers are cracking down on games using a weapons likeness in video games. So they got real life weapons that are odd prototypes that aren’t being manufactured anymore on purpose. Or like the MP5 they used a weird hand guard to get around it. Too lazy to buy the license, or it might be another reason.

I love the story the game chat tells in the first match. Kids get wiped by a lucky gl shot and complain about it. They call Handler's team losers and agree to "try." Handler's team disconnects until in the final round its 2v5 and when they win that round bc of course, they gloat about it.

IRL name RMC No. 2 and KAL1 General Purpose Rifle (is more period appropriate as it was developed between 1970-73). They should put this in the marksman rifle class (as it was semi-automatic IRL since it was based on semi-auto only L1A1 SLR) while replacing it in automatic rifle class with OTs-03A SVU-A select fire variant of SVU (Tsarkov) IRL although anachronistic as it was introduced in 1991 with full scale deployment in 1994.

@whiteoutTM According to what I know VKS also known as VSSK is the 12.7x55mm (STS-130 family) with long bullet subsonic sniper rifle. What you mean might be SR-3 Vikhr a modular alternative to AS VaL and VSS Vintorez. Considering its caliber and being select-fire it is an assault rifle but when it comes to its size and full auto engagement distance of 200m like most of the other ultra short barrel rifles in this category it falls into the SMG category. Although in semi-auto preferably with a scope they can be effectively lethal up to 300m (the battle range for mk1 eyeball and assault rifles), where most SMG's effectiveness is dubious.

They are described as such for convenience. In some commonwealth countries carbine or machine carbine is an alternative term for SMG's.

There’s a setting that basically does that for semi auto guns. I forgot where it is but I accidentally turned it on and when I was getting diamond for goblin I didn’t know why I couldn’t spam click 🤣 I didn’t personally like that setting but also I wasn’t using it right I guess

I got AR’s diamond first and none of them were bad. I thought the Goblin was going to be, but it’s good if you have a solid trigger finger. I wish headshots helped more. I believe it can 3 tap, but you need all 3 shots in the head.

You dont need to headshot, Goblin does 37 base damage so its a 3 shot kill no matter what. CHF barrel lets you kill in two headshots, but man that extra recoil makes the gun so much harder to use.
