The relationship between Krakoa and Arakko is reminiscent of the Relationship of Ex Nihilo and Abyss. Land of life, land of death. Which is maybe why the language of Krakoa is so similar to the language of the builders.

I believe most if not all were destroyed by the Beyonders back in Avengers/New Avengers. But I think there is gonna be a connection to that. Since the X gene is a celestial experiment then it wouldn't be a big jump to retcon and say that no actually an Ex Nihilo hijacked the experiment on the Eternal race and created mutants. Or Krakoa is a crash landed celestial wishing to be made whole after its bottom half was split off by Surter's sword.

I think the God of mutants is the Phoenix. Imagine Jean being the White Phoenix of the Crown. She would defeat the villains in X of Swords as the Phoenix burns away everything that is evil. I would love to see Hickman's own interpretation of the Phoenix Force.

@ Slight correction, the book of Revelation is not the end of all things. It's the end of human government and humanity's time of independence from God coming to an end as his rulership over earth begins anew. The bible describes how humanity went solo from God back when Adam and Eve chose independence for themselves and their offspring thinking that humans did not need God or his leadership. As this was a valid challenge to his leadership he could not just execute them for rebellion. Instead humanity is permitted to prove themselves better rulers over our own lives than God would be. In Revelation it describes events when that period comes to an end, after humanity has utterly failed at self governance but people choose to fight an impossible battle against God to cling to their independence than submit to gods authority. The four horsemen represent key global events which mark the complete failure of human rulership. Endless wars, poverty and economic disaster on a massive scale, rampant death, global diseases and sickness all happening at the same time. Like a brigade of horsemen charging across the world. That is why the Lords prayer says, "Let your kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Basically it's praying for the battle of Armageddeon to begin so it can end human suffering by reestablishing God's rule over the earth.

I want that too, but I doubt she would use that while she's on Krakoa. Both her pink form and Krakoa drain psychic energy from other people. If she uses it, she will compete with the island for those energies. That might take quite a toll on other psychics.

Rob mentioned in another recent video that he has a script writer. So, at this point I'm pretty convinced that he has someone else writing the scripts and he doesn't even bother reading most of the comics. A lot of the many, many mistakes/inaccuracies that he has are really simple things that he would have caught if he'd read the book or watched the slideshow that his editor put together.

Hi Rob, I think the idea of the battle where every warrior who dies is resurected to fight again the next day comes from Norse Mythology as this is what happens in Valhalla. Also seen the story in a Star Trek DS9 episode where Sisko and senior officers with the Bajoran spiritual leader crash land on the planet where people fight to the death every day but due to the planet properties they resurect every day. If you die on the planet you can not leave as you just die. So the spiritual leader was left there as she died during the episode.

DC comics take notes 😂 (almost forgot). Notice how a major story line is going on and the avengers isn't even involved. In fact we had 2 events... avengers was in one and Xmen in this story line. Unlike DC where everything revolves around superman, batman and their sidekicks (JLA) to include their usual arch enemies. If this was DC avengers would be the focus of both events. In DC, even the villains are disambiguation of batman, flash etc, in other words they are just batman, flash etc with a different costume. Essentially nothing new(if they are new DC kills them and gives their powers to jla smh 🤦‍♂️ie Dr. Manhattan) . No variety. Boring.

Dc doesn’t really have any big teams outside of the justice league. Each justice league member has their own family (flash, batman, latern) that go into their own individual stories. Marvel has both the Avengers and the X-men so it isn’t difficult to make a storyline about one without involving the other. Plus the avengers usually stay out of mutant business in storylines like this.
