The church is not another form of entertainment. It’s embarrassing what the Protestants have done to the church, especially the American ones.

One of the things Wright emphasizes frequently is that Paul would be shocked and greatly dismayed by the lack of unity in the church today. I love Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17- that's how the world will know that God sent him. No church or denomination is perfect, but I'd love to see more unity in what we all have in common in Christ. I've been blessed to know Christians from many denominations and styles of churches and I try to learn from them to stretch my own faith.

@@brendenlawson5014 I do not see the Evangelical churches as fully christian, especially in so far as they place an emphasis on sola fide and sola scriptura, which have led to individualism as well as moral and doctrinal chaos.

Many people know nothing else than the “entertainment “ model. Congratulations to Bp. Wright for coming to this venue. I suspect the congregation heard a quality sermon than they are not accustomed to. It must have been difficult to sit still, be quiet and not raise your hands every 15 seconds.
