I read this novel after watching 'Talkhiyan' which is why I was able to understand it otherwise some of the terminology in Keralite language and the political scenarios are difficult to understand. You've simplified it very nicely. I also think another 'forbidden love' was the love Baby Kochamma had for Father Mulligan. All the characters in the novel wanted to be loved, but because they were rejected love where they seeked it, they ended up facing loss and disappointment.

Good and easy summary of a complex stroy.It's a great book....1st of all, thank you for this video...But i have to say, whoever here watching it without reading the book, will be misguided.... there's a answer for every reason and it only can be found if anyone read this book on his/her own...
