“Facing a familiar opponent” had me dead, what are those odds
@HamsumMomo8 ай бұрын
Suck it CGB. Probably blaming going second as to why he lost.
@asherbdavis8 ай бұрын
Probably higher than we’d think. If your career is based on playing Magic Arena, you play thousands of games, which increases the likelihood of playing another KZbinr by quite a bit. But the odds are still against you.
@spiritkid91098 ай бұрын
It's extremely unlikely that you'd face up against CGB in any given game; but the idea that you'd face someone you know, in some random game eventually, is pretty danged high once you get enough games in.

I have faced CBG, LegenVD, Sonio, Ash, Sloth this past year. I must have the right MMR every season. Or I play every day all day and always get to numbered mythic.

I've been subbed to both Legenvd and CGB for years now and seeing them randomly face off against each other with Legends "a familiar opponent" is just chefs kiss. Definitely had a big stupid smile on my face.

49:53 Seems like both cards are exiled (by twins effect and rebound), the game is coded to return all creatures exiled when this effect resolves to the battlefield at the end of the turn. Definitely a bug to be squashed! Very good video (as usual)

10:40 spacejam and using the removal in combat seems like a stronger play there IMO; they are tapped out and forced to block so there's no chance of a blowout, and you could get everything to trade downwards in the best scenario and have an open board for lethal next turn.
@bluerendar21948 ай бұрын
With the right read and block here, opp could end at 6 HP and anim + dennick still on board vs 3 fewer creatures on Legend's side. Although Legend would have 6 flying next turn to go over top - I guess only some very specific draws that might not exist would save opp. Still, knowing that deck runs very little if any removal and definitely no sweepers, sitting on board with virtue (with backup/second one in exile) until fully lethal attack is an even more guaranteed win, no math required.
@sarcastic_ocupie16698 ай бұрын
Anim, Samut, Adeline and Hanna and Alana seem spicy, if I had the rare wild cards I’d suggest the deck. You can add Sigarda font of blessing to cast humans from the top of your deck and give hexproof to your permanents

Seems like deck from a few weeks ago with All Will Be One and a few extra steps 😅
@poopmcgee24108 ай бұрын
@@LegenVD pretty much. Although you don't need to fling, could do it in like an azorius superfriends shell so luxior is useful, use teferi to activate calendar twice a turn, tezzeret to animate, then just some way to give it evasion. It's super janky but would be hilarious
@thejesteramongfools8 ай бұрын
Do you think like 1 or 2 Lier would be good in this deck? Considering he works with Adventure Instants/Sorceries prevents you from getting countered and though he doesn't rebound from the grave they still will go to the adventure zone getting more use out of them. Maybe for a late game assist.
@LegenVD8 ай бұрын
Possibly! Might need a few more Considers for it to be worth it.

curious to see how this can be abused in self mill simic deck using virtue of strength, if you can cheat god out with virtue on 5 mana, running a deck with a lot of basic lands... could be pretty fun to actually have that kind of value that early on
