One thing I would really love in these kinds of videos is some point form graphics on the screen of what you are saying when going over the deck list in the beginning. I’m much more of a visual learner, and it would really help me to understand the benefits of each card. It wouldn’t have to be anything fancy. Love these videos!

I just had my first victory in MD with Blue Eyes yesterday, Raigeki came in clutch against a bunch of heroes and then Blue Eyes finished the job, its a lot of fun playing old school cards if they are not "meta" or whatever.

With chaos space extenders it is even stronger.I dont think you need Skill Drain in a combo Blue-Eyes.Skill Drain is for a trap version with True Light.

​@@beograddrzava178 Agreed lol, which is why I like Yacine's version better haha. He runs the Piri Reis Map and only runs 2x of the vanilla Blue-Eyes too. Sam's version here is good too but I feel Yacine's version is more streamline and most competitively viable like the title of his video for it haha. Skill Drain is fine in any Blue-Eyes build, Yacine's version was made right before the banlist dropped and even he was running 1x Skill Drain. You can even replace the 2x Prosperity in his version with 2x more Skill Drain too haha.

The new support opens up blue-eyes decks to a lot more plays and consistency, but kaijus/sphere/nibiru/etc would still run this deck over imo. Definitely the support blue eyes needed though. Can't wait for this new support to drop in master duel.

yea i get that guys lol. every deck to some extent gets punished by hand traps/kaijus/etc. The point I was trying to make was that the difference between a high tier meta deck getting hand trapped/kaiju'd and a rogue deck getting hand trapped/kaiju'd is the ability to recover from it consistently and still continue to make plays and build a board...something blue eyes decks have nvr rly been good at in the past... i havent played blue eyes with this new support yet tho so yea maybe this will change things up. who knows, we'll have to see!

I've already preordered all the blue-eyes cards except for Jet Dragon because I don't $50 for 2 of them. I'm definitely gonna be using Skill Drain because Tyrant Dragon is unaffected by trap cards so that'll most likely be the only monster on the field to keeps its effects

You can also use jet dragon to protect skill drain (or any other card on the field) by chaining ultimate creature, jet will be unaffected by skill drain after it resolves which means it protects skill drain from being destroyed

You could find a way to fit a Crystal Wing in there I know you could. For when you tag out on your turn with Spirit and summon Moonlight then summon any LV 1 tuner and go into Crystal. Not sure what you’d cut because that extra is super tight but you could find a way, maybe in the side deck.

Definitely could sub out azure eyes. Azure eyes is good and all, but it’s protection effect only lasts for a turn. Maybe 2. Crystal wing negates and can is much harder to get around.

Try to play with like 2 blue eyes instead of 3 and I even tried running 1 alternitive, you just dont need that many funny enough. This meta is really all about setting up a board and win or just bust. but a veryyy good list, love it 100%!

In regards to the combo, it goes off the assumption that the opponent can't break the board and wipe the field partially or (more likely) entirely. I'd like to see how it handles that when they break the board and set up Dragoon or Phoenix Enforcer asking with whatever other negates they can. It seems like it puts all its eggs in one basket and hopes a lot. Plus, off chance you don't get the *ahem* "GOD TIER COMBO", what types of plays are we looking at? One thing I enjoy about channels like Dark Armed Duelist as an example is that they do test hands and show what they'd do if the hand bricks, which can happen to almost any deck.

Sam !!! I love the energy it definitely motivated me to finish my blue eyes ! ! However is there a way to play blue eyed alternative ultimate dragon in this deck ? With ultimate fusion using true light to have a consistente board ? Cool combos at the end, but searching the emperor dragon or levianeer instead of searching jet dragon seemed like a missed opportunity. If your opponent manages to pop anything, boom, he is on the field, applying additional protection to the rest. But perhaps (and hopefully) jet dragon would be one of the few other cards in hand at the start.

Dragon’s bind is another really good card to play with blue eyes. Most decks special summon monsters with 2500 attack points or less. But dragons bind if you equip it to something like abyss Dragon or Dragon Spirit of white Now your opponent can no longer special summon monsters that are weaker than 2500 attack points or the same. And it doesn’t affect the blue eyes deck that much it does a little bit but not much. Because most of the monsters that you’ll be special summoning have 3000 attack points.

Can't say this is how I'd be running the new blue eyes. Instead of focusing more on synchro and link I'd be abusing ultimate fusion and alternative ultimate along with xyz plays plus chaos cards.

Blue-Eyes is more going first deck.Blue-Eyes Fusions are not interuptions.And there are not many good Rank 8 interuptions besides Hope and maybe Photon Lord.Plus with Nebula Dragon you are locked into Dark,Light Dragons.Halq is the best play now for sure.Ultimate fusion is a great card but there are no good Fusion targets for now but i feel like soon Blue-eyes is gonna get their own Dragoon.

@@beograddrzava178 I'd say alternative ultimate is a good target. Use ultimate fusion and summon alternative ultimate and you've got 4+ pops on the field and a 4500 beat stick that can't be destroyed. It's not Dragoon but it's damn close to it.

Interesting.. so no Number 97/Number 100 in the extra deck? I thought that it would be a go to combo play, especially for Blue-Eyes. I'm guessing that it can be a side deck option for additional combos.

I’ve been thinking about cutting them myself. The extra deck for blue-eyes is tight because there are so many good options. Number 100 is really good, but you need to open up your opponent’s board to then sneak in that kill, and sometimes it just feel you could do so many other things if you used those extra deck slots differently, especially going first.
