Well, it's a good 50 years since this movie was shot, and it's going to be 50 years since its first release next year. People get old and they do die. I saw this one in 1972 with my mom and brother, I was 17. Mom died in 1976 at 57 and my brother died at 66 years in 2020. They all have something that few will ever have, immortality as long as people will watch The Godfather, it's an excellent movie, well crafted and acted. My guess it will be watched long after we pass this mortal coil.

Pulp Fiction in 1972 would get you jailed and would never see the light of the day being banned from every regular movie theater in the country. Also "9 1/2 Weeks" would be classified as a porno movie just like "Deep Throat" or "Behind the Green Door".

He is mobbed up. He got the part in the movie through the mob and ended up running a mob casino in Las Vegas where he shot dead a member of the Medellín Cartel. He got off as it was considered self-defence. Pablo Escobar got him in Colombia but let him off when he realised he was in the Godfather movie which he loved. His family basically sent him down there telling him to sort it out but they were handing him over to die. He started in the mob as a kid. They put him in the movie as they were worried they would have a problem with the real new york crime families if they didn't put a mobbed-up guy in it.
