A remake would be nice too. I always thought it would be cool if they made a Godfather game based on the part of the book where Vito is younger, you could play as Vito and maybe other characters like Clemenza and Sonny. It would take place from 1918 -1930s throughout prohibition and maybe up to the point where the movie begins.

I wish but EA never renewed license with paramount. Someone would need to purchase it to make a game I fucking wish tho. Would be great to see 3 new games 1 where Vito is younger and remakes of the last 2

Better bring a crew with you. HA! I soloed all five families before the first mission just to challenge myself. It was quite the grind but I pulled it off! You have to do the families in order, you’ll get one shot by Barzini’s if you try to rush their compound…I learned that the hard way…

Corleone is the only family that has a chance to rise from the bottom of the New York families (in strength) to become the most powerful family in the city. Proof of this that as you rise through the ranks of the family your family gets more powerful weapons and more health. And by the end of the game, the Corleone's guard carry lvl.2 tommy guns and shotguns, and have their HP tied up with Barzini guards.

I always thought of Barzini as being the stongest family only because he sat at the head of the table and was pulling strings behind the scenes and seemed to be running things during the meeting of the five families. In the end though the Corleone family was the most powerful.

@@americangangster1911 You are correct about the fact that the Barzini were the strongest family but they didn't have what the Corleones had: Family. The Corleone's treated each other like family as Vito once said: There is nothing more important to a man than his family. They were willing to die for each other. If you notice that in the game, when Aldo is being attacked by another family other nearby Corleones will come to help him. That is why the Corleone Family is the greatest mafia family in mafia cinema history

When i played it i took out tattaglias turf first, instead of moving towards stracci i moved to cuneo, they were tough until i saved my money for upgrading my gun right up to level 3 then they were like a walk in park for me 😁, after dealing with cuneo straaci were a peace of cake for me, taking out three families made me rich and a walking ammo van with max weapons, barzini put up a fight but i destroyed them one by one, ending mob war with bombings are tough so i bribed fbi agents Everytime, before completing half of story missions i completed 90% of extortions 😂. I was addicted of taking all out so completed game in 4 days 😁

Tattaglia Crime Family’s territory is Brooklyn. Stracci Crime Family’s territory is New Jersey. Cuneo Crime Family’s territory is Hell’s Kitchen. Barzini Crime Family’s territory is Midtown. Corleone Crime Family’s territory is Little Italy. It makes sense the Corleone’s territory is Little Italy because Corleone is actually a town in Sicily, Italy.

I’m with Corleones. Vito was the greatest Godfather in Little Italy. Other families always tricky corruption, ruthless murders and greedy criminals.
