First let me preface this by saying I support cannabis legalization across the board and consume it myself. Caffeine is a drug. Aspirins a drug. It's a drug. The problem is people don't understand what the word drug means

It doesn't really help heal people, but it's great at managing certain types of pain, and a whole host of other problems, from cluster headaches to chemotherapy induced nausea. I work in oncology and I'm a big advocate for medicinal marijuana as an alternative to opioids in pain management. We can achieve far more success in long term pain management with marijuana than with opioids, with just a tiny fraction of the negative side effects - and almost none of the serious ones, especially in adults. Opioids should never be a long term solution, but too often they're prescribed this way, unfortunately, when cannabis is right there as a viable, and much safer alternative.

as someone with chronic back pain, ive been prescribed pain pills for years... obviously over time, a tolerance builds up... got to where i was taking WAY too many everyday, just to get up and go to work.... marijuana helps out so much, now, i rarely need a pill... shits a miracle plant.... 4:08 ... exactly... i prefer "medicated" aswell... hahaha
