I love this game I finished and completed the whole game myself back in the day when I had it on PS2 I took over every mobster compound everywhere in New York City this game is so gangsta.

You missed the bags of money hidden in the upstairs part of the restaurant...but that might just be the PS2 version my bro and I played. As for the getaway, I like to go straight up the street until it ends at 42nd, turn left and head all the way down 42nd until I’m on 12th, make a right, and head for the docks. It’s faster, with more room to maneuver against the shooters’ cars.

i played this game 4 years before i watched the godfather movie yesterday on 26/12/22 and i can say that this game is movie accurate but it is extended for the gameplay like luca brasi had more screentime in this game than the movie lmao

I’ve heard that the legend Al Pacino didn’t let them use his likeness for whatever reason (I mean he is more typecast as Tony Montana right so idk) but with some difficulty, my character kind of looks like Al Pacino, shame the story didn’t take place as Michael and Al Pacino voiced and let them use his likeness

That was due to Scarface (the game) that was using his likeness already, must have been some legal stuff between studios

About the same time, the Scarface - The World is Yours game was under production, for which Pacino's likeness and voice were already signed over. Possibly, Pacino's agency did not wish the legal hassle of 2 different movie studios breathing down their neck for who rightfully owned the likeness, and so Vivendi won. And boy did Pacino bet on the winning horse! Scarface was far and away the superior game version of a movie.
