She is one of the best on the stage today. Her playing is musical, precise, and nuanced. What she has is called a gift. You can practice 6 hours a day and still don't have it. Sure you can get a degree and if you are lucky you get a teaching job at a school somewhere, but you still don't have it.

Thu Le! Special artist. I got that signature guitar - very special tone / timbre. Sadly, and unfortunately, Manuel Raimundo, the luthier, passed, and it seems his children have been unable to keep the business running without him. So now this model is a very limited series indeed. I think Thu Le was just gifted a beautiful guitar last Thursday, by another local Valencian luthier, Manuel Adalid which she played the following day.

Thu Le is fabulous. This 'signature' guitar has the classic, Spanish sound: bright, clean, a tad metallic. Perfect sound for most pieces, and a most beautiful aesthetics. But I think this tune would sound better if played on a classic Brasilian guitar. 🙂
