The Golden Age Of China Motor Bus 中華巴士的黃金時代

於1998年被終止了專營權的中華汽車有限公司（中巴）曾經是香港島最大的巴士運營商。 從20世紀70年代到80年代中期，在香港不斷維持巴士服務，並擁有大型車隊。然而，由於地鐵港島線於1985年開業，1989年的大罷工，公司給人的印象非常惡劣，並擁有過時的巴士和差劣的服務。 這部影片旨在通過剪輯從過去的新聞報告一個組合捕捉中華巴士的“黃金時代”。
The China Motor Bus Company (CMB) was once the largest bus operator on Hong Kong Island until its franchise was terminated in 1998. From the 1970’s to the mid 1980’s, CMB was the leading operator in the Hong Kong territory, with a large and modern fleet. However, because of the opening of the MTR Island Line in 1985 and the staff strikes in 1989, CMB’s popularity was at an all-time low due to their outdated buses and poor service. This video is aimed at capturing this “golden age” of China Motor Bus through a collection of clips from past news reportages.

其實我覺得中華巴士有限公司，就是已經服務咗半個世紀，這間公司就是時候要退役，同埋這間公司要退役的時候，要有些嘢可以值得懷念吓，例如:巴士車款/維修車輛、巴士零件/巴士組件、中巴的新聞稿、其他不同的服務優惠、公司即將發生的事件等，這些我覺得是可以值得懷念同留遺紀念同其他的事情！
