If you ignore the europhic hardstylez channel then hardstyle is actually starting to go back to the golden age. I had such a negative view on the new stuff until I realised its all just EDM remixes being posted by one channel and is not reflective of what's actually being played at Q-dance today.
@Ares45 жыл бұрын
Hardstyle is definetely where it should be right now, 2017 was already a huge year and now 2018. Bright future for all the harder stylez like for Hardcore and so on.
@botyorick5 жыл бұрын
@@Ares4 well I agree...kinda...2017 and 2018 both gave us awesome tracks and through all the producers making rawphoric we are finally leaving the annoying split between raw and eupho behind, BUT it's not quite golden era yet. I would call it a renaissance

Every. Single. Damn. Release. Was soooooo damn exciting during this time! Everytime there was a new song, people went so crazy! Most hardstyle releases now are just... "meh, meh..." I genuinely feel sorry for whoever got into hardstyle late, because they missed out, BIG TIME.

My opinion: Back in the days we had many legendary tracks that will always be remembered but one thing we did not have is variety. What I mean is that nowadays there are way more elements and details in the hardstyle scene (there are always exceptions).Now there are way more choices in what style of hardstyle you prefer but sadly the amount of tracks that will write history is limited.

Yeah, the problem is because of his previous absolutely legendary tracks, we have very high expectations of him. I like his new stuff but I don't think he will ever truly be the "old" Headhunterz again. But that's okay, that time is over now, he has changed and so have we. I will forever thank him for creating the greatest music I've ever heard. But now it's other creators' turn to create their generation's "legendary" tracks.

Great video!! My opinion on these old hardstyle tracks is quite diverse, on the one hand there are these insanely good songs with incredible melodies and on the other hand there are some that I just find too boring and weird but I guess that is also happening with music these days so I shouldn't be really complaining about it. Additionally, it is fascinating to see how the sound has evolved during the years and how some of these classics paved the path to the hardstyle that is made today and we all love. Truly most of these masterpieces will never be forgotten and once in a while it is good to go back and listen to them in order to see, lets say, the "history" of the genre. Im closing my really big comment by saying that I find Frontliner's tracks real masterpieces, I dont know why but I love almost every track this producer made, is it just me?
