The Golden Ages Board Game | Playthrough (2 Players)

Thanks for the playthrough! I heard Rahdo and the Nerd Shelves talk about this as an underrated civilization game, so I picked up a "used" copy. When it arrived, it was in shrink, and we are getting ready to move to the Seattle area, so I haven't even opened it up yet, but it was fun to see how it plays.

It truly is one of the most underrated Civ games. If the graphic design got a facelift it would be much less so. It is a great, streamlined, Civ game. (Also, good luck with the move!)

I noticed some mistakes during your game. The bigger is the power of India, that does NOT give the point bonus of the tech tile (so, NO 1VP x cube). Another one: with Austria (and other Civilizations with similar power) if you don't have the required technology (Agricolture), you get both Agricolture and Architecture when you develop the first (even during the turn). Other mistakes are distractions (for example, when Jeff builds the Bank, he get immediately the coins, but he'd wait a turn and activate the building).
