I thought that Jason lost his sandal because he crossed the river carrying Hera, disguised as an old lady. Not because Hera carried him on her back... I will search this specific part of the myth, to be sure if I have been mistaken all these years.

You are correct. He carried Hera and the current swooped his sandals. This was to fulfill the prophesy.

@@basquiat9015Since I have the same name, I have read the myth from ancient texts (The Argonautica - Greek: Αργοναυτικά written by Apollonius Rhodius in the 3rd century BC), and I am quite sure that Jason carried godess Hera and the other way around...

I searched the specific part of how Jason lost his sandal, and he lost it while he was carrying Hera (disguised as an old lady) to cross the river. He lost his sandal from the running water of the river. In this audiobook, you say that Hera, disguised as an old woman, carried Jason on her back (!!!) and his sandal fell from his foot. This is wrong, you should correct it...
