Thank you brother for this video. I have been struggling with this for a couple of months now, it seems as If i go into seasons of struggle with this off and on. But being reminded to stop looking at myself and look to Christ. Please pray for me and my stubborn heart, that Gods grace would pierce through my Pharisaical mind.

I think about this a lot even as a born again believer in Christ who has truly repented and trusts in what Jesus did. I don’t have a church yet. Haven’t found one yet. But I can look for one. It does nag at me that I’m an island for Jesus.

Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33 tell us how God forgives us when we sin. There is NOTHING in there about believing in Jesus. We are forgiven when we repent and do good deeds. Again, NOTHING about Jesus. God judges us on our actions, not our theology! The death of Jesus doesn't forgive you of your sin. Read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! Do what God says: repent and do good deeds! That's how you do it! Christians don't ever talk about Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! It is forbidden because it shows how God forgives sin without Jesus! Again, read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33. Worship God, not a man. Number 23:19 tells us that God is not a man!

Hello @davidcopelan7589, we are Christians, we believe in the old testament and the new testament: ‭John 1:1-2, 14 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and *the Word was God.* [2] He was in the beginning with God. [14] And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 10:30 [30] Jesus said: I and the Father are one.” So, the bible is saying that God became flesh, a human: Jesus Christ. And this same Jesus died on the cross FOR the sins of his people: ‭2 Corinthians 5:21 [21] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. And you may ask, how were people in the old testament saved? People in the old testament were saved by faith, this is Habakkuk in ‭Habakkuk 2:4 [4] “...[] but the just shall live by faith" ‭Ephesians 2:8-10 "[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; [9] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. [10] For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." Why do you need Jesus ? God is holy, Can you love your God with all your heart soul and mind ? No. And you say: "well, He will forgive me, because he loves me" So God is not just ? Where is the justice of God? He cant just "forgive" you and thats it. God is Holy God is Love God is Just Someone MUST receive the punishment because of your sin. And that's why God became flesh, He loved you so much that He died FOR you. Believe that Jesus Christ did that for you and you will be saved.
