Currently running Pestilence wth Vile mask (skill haste mod), 4pc Ongoing Directive (all weapon damage and status effects) and "The Sacrifice" chest piece with status effects and skill haste (skill haste mod)... Secondary weapon is the GR9 with Sadist, Jammer Pulse and Striker with Survivalist for the extra 10% status effect damage. Been running "solo" with 5 directives comfortably.

Actually, to correct something, striker doesn't do anything. Ive made a pesty survivability build with striker in it, but i eventually opted for more survival and switched over to all yellows for the extra attribute. And just for disclosure, yes memento was saved on the striker build along with the same core count so nothing changed at surface level. Only thing that did change was the 5 other gear pieces, using contractors and 2 WH, along with overwatch, i get a difference of 87,000k per tick between both builds. Ill list it below. Specialization: gunner, specced with lmg damage specifically Pestilence: fully optimized 19% experience Mask: WH with red core, regen, repair, and aok, 18% expertise Pack: memento with aok and 20% expertise Chest: alps with skill tier, repair skill, regen, and aok, 20% expertise Gloves: contractors with red core and regen, 18% expertise Holster: WH with red core, repair, and regen, 19% expertise Pads: belstone with blue core, repair, and regen, 17% expertise Damage = about 750-930k per tick (depends on the target) once all mementos are gathered in normal nonGE gameplay. 1-1.2m with golden bullet acquired. Highest ive ever seen this build damage up to is 2.4m in shd exposed. Regen = 75k once all mementos are gathered Skills are repair drone and revive hive In my opinion, its great for clearing control points because the ticks kill so fast and spread like wildfire if you can keep your targets relatively in place close to eachother. Also great for leveling your weapons you havent reached full proficiency with yet, pestilence is the main weapon youll be using the entire time. Its one downside is that it relies on memento to do the heavy lifting. Damage, regen and repair are nothing with out having your mementos up to at least half. So youd have to do a couple activities or just find some enemies before you go do anything crazy. Elites/heavies will be your biggest challenge, as in its early stages, i could barely kill an elite if the stacks spread. Now, i easily can but it also took a lot of expertise to be put in. Heavies are still a big problem and i always have to pump several hundred bullets into them, but throwing your foam grenade on them if youve popped the ammo chain helps. True son/rikers/cleaner chungas are the ones that are the real problem. But, as with any heavy, aim for the weakpoints.

I was just running pesti today. 4 piece strikers, perfect glass cannon and momento. Yes I know it's not the highest DPS, but I like it. Get my banshees pulse back faster and does plenty of dmg with the tick dmg at about 1.4mill. Smash heroic with 5 directives.

hitting hard with 1.295 without event with my pestilence build, max tick, and around 600-700k crit hit. I love it. The build is "yellow only" i was not satified by getting green set(s) around pesti. I Will try it with the golden bullet event with a group of four slayers.
