One of the definitions I've found in an old book said that hypnosis is the capturing of attention. Attention is psychic energy that directs thoughts speech and action. When the attention is engaged the inner mind is exposed to suggestions
@Eyes-of-Horus6 жыл бұрын
Seems to me that you understand that emotions play a major role in inducing the hypnotic state. Once a person is experiencing any emotional state (excitement is a strong emotional state) s/he is already "hypnotized" or rather in an altered state of consciousness. Inducing an emotional state the person identifies with means that you are in rapport with that person. As you said, rapport is highly important in any form of communications and hypnosis is that.

It's called "exciting the mind". Every book says you have to do this to perform an instant induction. How is that a secret?
@JanieMartinSings6 жыл бұрын
David are you talking about the induction or after the induction? I am 78 year old female Hypnotist and I can drop anyone who wants to be hypnotized (or not) with a shock induction that stuns their nervous system very easily they go into deep trance or I may do another lulling one in which I will deepen. But the real secret is to view the energy life force field of a good hypnotist and see how powerful it is and so powerful it can overtake the subject's energy field and break through with a suggestion that will cancel the other person's inner false belief or Ego state that is holding them back. All humans go into trance 70% of the day. When Jesus said The Kingdom of God is within, nobody ever asks where that is!! It is the inner mind, the subconscious mind! It is not even physical at all!! Imagination is the Holy Grail because it creates the outer physical 3D world! If you can ever learn to go out of your body you can see how things work. Janie

i just wana thank u david for teaching me how to hypnotize! One of my friends, from Manchester, always makes her self act cool. She says (stop laughing at nothing your such a baby) and when i tell her something she flicks her hair, and literlly says (i dont care) as easy as that. But i know how to give her revenge now! I can just go in front of my class room, and tell everybody (today, im going to hypnotize *name*) so then everybody will say no, it cant be, but then yess it worked! Everybody was so amazed that they kept their mouths wide for like a few minutes.. I didnt tell you her name because it is something personal... I am now the coolest girl in the whole school, probably in the whole England! Yrp! i should be the qween now.. And, the girl that used to act cool, is now nice and not cool anymore..! You might have a point with your captivation theory. I went to Catholic high school for a few years. But I had a strange experience in Catholic high school. It was All Saints' Day, and I remember being taken into a room with about three other people. I don't remember who they were, whether they were other students, or whether they were adults. The room we went into was one I had never been in, it was only about a quarter the size of a regular classroom, but had some pews that had been brought in from a church, and an ornate altar. The altar looked like an antique piece that had been taken out of some grand cathedral, it was wooden with very beautiful, artful carving. I sat quietly in one of the pews, between the people I had gone in with, sort of fascinated with the beautiful, ornate altar with its wooden carvings, and wondering what kind of cathedral it had come from. Then some nuns came out, and placed things on the altar. I was very thrilled and excited to be there, to be watching the nuns and wondering what they were doing. It was some kind of a secret room, a private chapel, and I liked being there. That's were my memory ends, watching the nuns place things on the altar. I don't remember a thing after that. I don't even remember leaving the room and walking back to class. I've wondered since if I was hypnotized or something that day. The only strange thing that happened to me after that was one day in algebra class, some time after the incident, I broke down crying. A nun took me out of the class and asked me why I was crying. And all I could say was that I didn't know. And I didn't. We both looked searchingly in each others' eyes. She must have thought I was crazy, but she was very kind to me. I'm also thinking of the way Hitler hypnotized crowds at his speeches with hand movements. But part of the routine was a big ceremony first, with all the symbolism, the swastika, etc., and sometimes they would march around, holding candles, in a very emotionally absorbing ritual at his rallies, or they would have people in costume of ancient Nordic people, etc., all of which thrilled the crowds.

Hi, you have notice that some people do not have "protected, closed" path from eye to brain / cranial nervs. It have to do with childhoodness *codependant. Theirs attention is always on others. So yes it looks like good child eyes, or open eyes. As much as eyes path is more protected, you need more skill to manipulate to breach in.

I had that struggle too getting hypnitized. I can't fokus on stuff for a long time and i can't imagine pictures or scenes clearly. My mind always switches to something else more like questions, distracting me. like: what time is it, did i forget to do something important, do i need to get some gas later and stuff like that. It was really depressing for me to be unable to get hypnotized, so i exprimented a little bit and I found, that for me, its easy to experience trance by imagine following question: "How would it feel to be hypnotized?" The answer comes with the question. By focusing on the feeling of a relaxed body and mind, I can almost instantly let go and enter trance. Works incredible good with some audio files and headphones

It has got to do with communication. Once you get that, you realize there isn't any one person who can't be hypnotized. I'm both very serious and rather cerebral *and* childlike. I'm just mentally very flexible. You say things like "feeling it" in your video, so in your case I'd probably choose descriptions of physical sensations. You would probably do a lot better on the "balloon tied to your arm" test than I would. Someone who "sees what you mean" would probably react better to more visual suggestions (such as the "walking down a stair" suggestion so many people use).. It's not about being child-like, it's about talking to people in the way they communicate most effectively. People will (quite literally) tell you what their style is. Just be sure to pay attention.. and adjust the way you naturally communicate to match theirs.

Hi David, I just found this video of Yours quite by chance ( if chance or coincidence is actually as random as folk assume lol ) I will catch the rest when I get back home but wanted to briefly respond regarding the ' Spirit ' of Hypnosis and say have You watched some of the plentiful videos on here by David Snyder because he does get quite profound whilst trying to make out that he's somehow casual on the subject but it doesn't take long to realise that he gets right into the subtle energies and as his daughter describes his qualifications as his laundry list of over achievement... this again makes light of the depth and range of his studies to encompass the process from as many aspects as possible. Thanks for Your video and I look forward to watching shortly. Namastè Paul

how do you notice that someone is in a trance?
@philipfrie773 жыл бұрын
The person has to be willing to give up there own Will-power. Giving up self-control, giving up there own will to experience this dream reality. At least thats what I observe from the videos. The will power, and the ego is the resistance. And letting go 🙏🙌😃 like on frozen. She let go, and excepted her new reality, her sister brought her balance. There is power in letting go of things or situations, and making intentional choices, intending to do something it brings the mind into a place of being intentional. I like the book THE LOST SECRET BY MONICA MAIN. It talks about a lot of things on making money, and how to find balance when you do that. Meditating when you first wake up, to make intentions in your mind of a dream state of the mind when your awake and asleep, to dream of your new world. Theres a lot of info in the book. What you desire the most powerfully, you can manifest. Also taking action, and once you take the action, let go. And allow it to become what its meant to be. Not trying to get further out comes of it. But allowing it to unfold as it was intented to do in your intention of desire for it to begin with. The more work with advertisment, and promotions, only is saying it needs to be harder than what its supposted to be, making it that much harder to get to that destination. 🙏🙌😊 Im still waking up 4:41 AM. I will sleep a little more. Oh that book isnt about hypnosis, but it does help a lot learning about the mind in general, and the meditation for 5 mins in the morning is also helpful, and again at night. And letting go, I am still reading it. 😌🙏🙌☀🙏🐛🦋🎨🌈🦄🌼

great to see someone like this, alot of what u say is true, but for any hypnosis to work you have to want it to work, by that i mean he subject has to believe he /she is there for help and you being the hypnotist need all what you just said. but the subject needs to beleive that when they come to you, you the therapist can help them achieve with their problem. anyway great video.

How do I get that childlike state back in myself? Generally kids don't have a lot of stress - they are not worried about work, bills, chores. Imagine what it is like to have that child like wonder. Take an hour or two. Sit in a comfy chair in a quiet room and then start to go back in your mind to those times when you were little and you were just focused on something that fascinated you - like following a butterfly. Think about as many of these experiences as you can, imagine the sounds you heard, the texture of things you felt, the aromas of your favorite meal, the colors of things you saw. Lose your mind and come to your senses. If you can't remember: imagine what its like. The more you do this you will remember that child like state that is deep inside of you. And after you have done this once - it should be easier to get back there. You can create your own audio tape that will lead you back to this state and maybe add some suggestions of things you want to change. or a professional hypnotist can lead you back. All of your memories are stored deep in side you, it's within you to re-experience them. It is a fascinating world. I can bring women instantly to incredible orgasims just by getting them to remember all prior orgasms and combine them and then attach this feeling to me. And I can do this just by talking about it in an oblique way - for example if I ask you what is a pink elephant like, it's hard for you not to think of a pink elephant. But there are much more stealthy ways to do this.

I was in until I saw the price. I would pay for the filtered info but not that much. $500 is to much for info thats available on you tube.

Fascinating video. What did you mean by real when you tweeted Derren Brown about you being able to read someone’s mind for real?

and I don’t mean that philosophically. Let me put it this way, could you please expound on that tweet.

What did the tweet say exactly? That must’ve been yearsss ago lol In short, I can read peoples energy though, which anyone can do by developing their sense of empathy and intuition.

David Lion “Would you be open to meeting a legitimate psychic? I am a mentalist too so I know where you're coming from, but this is real @DerrenBrown”

Ahh ya. So it's basically what I said. As a mentalist myself, I know that 95% of psychics are fake, however I've met and connected with a good few legitimate psychics, and at the time I was just wanting to introduce Derren Brown to them.

David your awesome man! I wish I could have got the hypnosis lessons while they were on sale but family issues came up! But I guess you win some you lose some! I’m saving up some money so I could hopefully get the lessons!!! I aspire to become a hypnotist! I’ve seen, and read books but they just don’t do it for me! I’m hoping that your lessons will help me fill the gap I’m having on this learning curve! If your lessons ever come back on sale definitely send an email man! I signed up on the site so you should have it! I’ll get that the minute you drop it! If not it’s cool just got to save a bit to finally see your techniques and implement them!
