I don't know if it's THAT prevalent that there isn't not much love for Kuminga. I haven't seen a ton of comments lately saying they've got to trade him since he's been putting up more points and showing more improvement. I, for one, believe he's got a tremendous upside and will keep working hard to get better. So I'm all for seeing Kuminga and Steph working together. Kerr does need to allow him to do some iso work from time to time because it's working for him, but I'm starting to shake my head seeing Kerr's small ball lineups that he's been putting on the floor though.

Need to move on from Kerr's stubborn and outdated lineups and sentimentality to the old guys. Steph can't run 5 miles very game and he and Draymond are creating a turnover fiesta. 5-2 without Steph? I know, but it's food for thought. The young guys need to develop chemistry, but they can't with Steph and Dray out there. Relying too heavily on them warps the energy and the dynamics. Steph's also a liability on defense. Reduce his minutes and change the play. The league has figured out the Warriors and Kerr refuses to give up. The coaching clearly is awful. Turnovers, lack of shooting, finish around the rim, ball handling skills and idiotic fouls. They are NOT a disciplined team. They need their asses kicked, including Kerr.

Curry is a great scorer. However, during the dynasty, Curry was surrounded with high IQ vets and defensive players. These players covered for his deficiencies and empowered scoring options. As the vets left / retired, this "superpower" diminished and the focus became "superstar" Curry. But, Curry can't play elite defense and doesn't facilitate others that well. All that being said, if the Warriors are able to move Curry into a veteran "sniper" role, they will succeed again. Notice how the Warriors play much better with Curry out. Why? Because they are free to use their talents instead of deferring to Curry or Kerr. Now, a good coach would step back, review the options before the team, and work to implement the most effective strategies. Kerr isn't that coach.

If the Warriors keep Kerr beyond this season, I hope JK and Moody both get the opportunity to play for other teams under a coach that doesn't have his head up his own ass. Steph and Dray are nearly cooked, team needs to start thinking about the future without them. If Lacob had the stones, he would trade both of them while they still have value, for more young talent and picks and start the rebuild.

I'm yet to find a vid that I disagree with you. Infact, I've been saying some of the same thing for a while. The biggest issue with gsw over the last 4 years is Kerr. Yes this includes 2022. JK has been developed inspite of, not because of Kerr. Every year people say JK needs to take a next step but fail to realize his next step is only equal consistent role and playing time. Last year gsw lost 3 games where Kerr took out Moody even though he was there best defensive player and in the Sac game was their best player in the 4th overall. It was so glaring that a reporter asked Kerr about it. It's not just JK that Kerr is sabotaging, it's Moody as well and anyone with a brain would know that you need to develop youth to compete in this league....Look at OKC and Cle. Kerr is the problem but if management doesn't see it, then who am I?

This is a young man's game now and sadly both Steph and Draymond even when they had Klay their days are OVER. They NEED to give the keys to Kuminga but unfortunately for them they have a coach in Kerr who doesn't know what to do with any player over 6ft3. Unless they admit to themselves that Kerr inherited a team riding off the foundation built by Mark Jackson and stop looking at him as this saviour which he isn't. His small ball is outdated and he hasn't came up with anything else that works yet. The thing about trading for a superstar is, if you sideline him the way the warriors seem to sideline Kuminga on the offense all the time, even a superstar wouldn’t be that effective. You would have to give them the ball and let them play their game for them to be effective and surprise, wouldn’t you know it, you can say the same thing about getting the most out of Kuminga.

Swish, Again, you are correct! If you look at Steph’s history, he became the number one player by lifting up his teammates. Look at this lineup: Steph, Wiggins, Kuminga, Green, and TJD. Steph is a true point guard that happens to be a good shooter. GSW is depending on Steph to do both, and Steve Kerr does not understand how to build around Kuminga and bigs. The Warriors have no choice is a true statement, but it is Steve Kerr refuse to accept the choice. Unfortunately, Steve Kerr, Steph, and Green have decided to go down together. I don’t think the GSW management is willing to break this up before it is too late. Steph can be an asset with a youth movement.

DFS would have been perfect fit in GSW; he doesn't need the ball in his hand and is a great 3 and D guy; I think his instincts on D will only contribute to Dray to add more disruption to the opponent offense, and Steph's gravity will only make DFS' spot up three much easier.. I felt Schoeder wasn't the best option for GSW; he is better fit with the Lakers, as he already proved his value with that team a couple years ago when he played for Lakers. They have a simple issue to resolve… too much play around the perimeter, moving the defense side to side, but never in and out. Gotta throw defense off and make them shuffle and you have to draw fouls. Threes are awesome when they fall but gotta get some paint shots! Only other issue that somehow remains since Bogut - neeeeeeddddd a Center. Doesn’t have to be a dominating Embiid type, just a Center that can compete in the paint on defense and Offense (look at Cleveland). Simple - play in and out and side to side (more than threes), and get a Center.

First, I’ve historically been critical of JKs passing ability, basketball IQ, & lack of offensive understanding. His forcing of 1:1 isolation that inevitably fails against a bigger, longer player, and his overall decision making. With that said, I’ve been neutral about a trade. Keeping him under the right contract until he develops & deserves more is probably the right decision. Overpaying him would be a crippling mistake. While I’m not itching to trade him, I’m not opposed to the right trade. With all of that said, JK has taken a small jump that might turn into a giant leap. We’ve all seen flashes but the issue has been consistency. Over the 5 to 6 games before he was injured he improved significantly & I’m not talking about scoring 30+ pts. His assists were up, his defense was up, his rebounds were up, his passes were mostly great, his decision making was mostly great that was a star in the making. He made the offense flow instead of clogging it up. Was so pissed & sad to see the ankle injury. Felt like he was on the verge of something great & that version of JK should not be traded. I personally don’t understand this #1, #2, etc… talk. It doesn’t matter. What matters is chemistry! Playing as a unit, everyone understands the game plan, & everyone executes at a high level. Additionally, because the margin for error is so low for this team free throws, turnovers, & defense are huge. I don’t know about #1 & #2 or whose team it is? But I do know that most teams fear no GSW player offensively except for SC & JK! And when one of these guys is not on the floor the offense looks awful! A good reason to stagger their play and make sure the majority of the game has at least one of them out there. I think the biggest difference between the 12-3 start & what came after was consistency. When Steph is double & triple teamed he needs the other guys to make their open shots. Players need to understand how to move the ball when the def clogs things up. They need to play with high intensity defense all the time. Etc… they did all of this at a high level the first 15 games & then it just dropped off a cliff. The narrative would be very different if BH & LW were making 3s or if DM didn’t get hurt, etc… Everyone has bad nights & SC has had a few already this season. He’s not as dominant but he’s still incredible. DG is having a great def year & solid offensively, except for the unforced turnovers! JK is coming into his own & Wiggins is solid. Beyond that you just don’t know what you’ll get night in & night out, and sadly, that is likely not enough to be competitive in today’s NBA playoffs. Remember the annoying commercials “It’s a make or miss league!” Well the GSW are the epitome of that saying this season.

It doesn't make sense now.... too expensive to get & too expensive to pay him a max contract at his age, so definitely not him. Maybe if they break Phoenix out there's gold in there with Book and or KD... unlikely but maybe... And is frustrating because before Melton got injured everything looked amazing... and then poof... Hopefully there's a turnaround somehow... I'd get rid of Draymond something nobody really mentions, he is great defensively sometimes.. others he is just so off... I'd use his contract and not the one of Wiggins... definitely move GP2, Podz, Slow-mo & loon plus picks for a big... and Wiggins & or Kuminga only for a true (young) star... or KD..

Trading kuminga is dumb him and Wiggins are playing so good look at them at their positions. What we need to do and I'm sorry is readjust that bench move away Moody his contract is really good and he's a solid player but he needs more minutes since we keeping podz cause his contract get some shooting bigs or stretches in the rotation give this team utility they lost that. The starting 5 is good the bench is no longer working

Melton was a bigger answer than I think a lot of us thought. We fell off once he got injured. It’s not Kerr. It’s Wiggins. Wiggins isn’t constant. He should be in his prime and an easy 2nd option. Lastly, I’m tired of billionaires and 9 figure guys in sports saying they just want to win chips but with supermax contracts. Jordan and Brady showed what anything to win looks like. This is why those guys are the goats and not these modern players.

I agree, get rid of kerr and bring back Mike Brown. But the warriors are trying to win a championship and at the same time rebuild. Time to admit that is not working. I would like to suggest the unthinkable. Trade Curry and Green to the Lakers for Anthony Davis and Reeves and Kenecht. It would be interesting to see Curry play with LeBron and it would be good for the warriors to get Anthony Davis and a couple up and coming young players in Reeves and Kenecht.

Finally, a sensible analysis. Trust the young warriors. I've always been against trades including Kuminga. We're still seeing flashes of Steph's greatness, and I still believe in him. So, I say give the young warriors an opportunity to evolve and develop while taking advantage of Curry's greatness, if and when it's on. And let's face it, the GSW is not the consistent 3-point monster that we all love to watch. I'd value consistency and efficiency if I were the team.

The issue with the Warriors is that all the players not named Curry defer to Kerr and Curry and Green. The way it should be done is get the others going first! Draw up plays to get them rhythm early, as a matter of fact, I would put a rule in if i was Kerr....Curry should not have to shoot a single shot in the 1st quarter. Put the onis on the others to find rhythm so that later in the game when Curry is dancing in iso or pick and roll and shoots a pass to the corner, that guy isn't ice cold but rather has gotten himself warm and already seen the ball go through the basket! There needs to be a concerted effort to make life easier for the guys not named Curry and Green!

Im with you on this one. Steve Kerr is poor utilizing this roster. If you can't win with Kuminga unless you get Giannis or AD next to steph no second option will be good enough to change the situation. It sad to say this but we've seen this time and time when father time decades to come after you, you put up a fight but at the end you give up. Steoh has declined and he isn't a first option anymore unkess he allow a young player to shine while him providing support. We blamed everyone but Steoh while Kerr style of play is just to make everyone pass the ball to steph. That worked before but now steoh can't hit 3's like on his prime let alone his 2022 version. We saw him in the Olympics and he is capable of having his moments when he is not the player everyone is relying on. He struggled in the Olympics but had great moment when it mattered, Kuminga or whatever youth you want to bring here won't shine unless he is made the side to side equal option to Steph

I actually like Kuminga at the 4, Wiggins at 3, and defensive guys at the 2 and 5 (TJD and i prefer Moody), sorta like the championship years where the 2-3-4 are big wings like Klay, KD Livingston, Iguodala, and Draymond. 2 small guards like Steph and Monta Ellis is what held back the Warriors before (defensively).

Y’all the only ones who think they had things “figured out.” The harsh truth is the Warriors just don’t have enough talent to compete consistently. We need everything to go right in order to even pull out close victories. Steph, JK, (Wigs, GP2, Loon, TJD and Draymond) off the bench are the only true serviceable players that should remain. Everyone else can go. They’re just not good enough. It’s time for a new era, look, scheme, and organizational direction. The championship dynasty is over.

@keithlewis2773

The Warriors issue is the fact that they need a center. Warriors need a legit center that's at least 7 foot or a stretch big who can score n rebound. Kuminga is being jerked around on purpose. At the beginning of the season Kuminga asked for a max contract. Warriors don't want to pay him the money he's asking for so they are trying to control that by not giving him consistent minutes or a consistent starting position. Another factor is the fact that Steve Kerr plays Kuminga at the 4 and that's pretty much Draymond Greens starting position. This a huge reason why were seeing Green at the 5. Which is horrible. Warriors aren't good because they are too small, won't allow Kuminga to thrive(Steve Kerrs motion offense doesn't fit Kuminga nor does it fit a few other players on this team); also the fact that Curry is slightly declining. If Curry was dropping 30 like were used to seeing, to go along with Wiggins n Kuminga balling out, Warriors would have won a lot of the games they lost this season. Bottom line, if Warriors want to win another Championship they need another superstar, which isn't on the market. If Warriors want to contend this season they need a good center without trading away Kuminga or Wiggins. 💯

It is the end. It will not end a blaze of glory, but be a slow dying ember. When Steph and Dray take up so much of your payroll and are in a steep decline, you end up with un-tradeable contracts and not enough wins. They are good enough to win just enough games to give you hope, but not good enough to be serious contenders. This is what dynasties look, lopike when they die.

How have the warriors not featured JK? They've been trying to feature him all year. They finally found out how to best utilize him. Off the ball and being a finisher rather than a creator. Let him create against mismatches and then JK exploded. He was playing his best basketball of his career and then he got hurt. The only person I'd trade JK for is Zion, but Zion comes with his own huge risks.

To those saying Kerr needs to go, he is not going anywhere for the next 2 years. Kerr may have a poor rotations but the players are also performing poorly. Even Steph and Dray are just throwing the ball away with goofy passes. Dennis has to find his rhythm yet and click to the team. Kerr also has to go away from his tiny lineups and design specific plays that fits how his players play.

Funny all the trade talk and I don't hear people kicking out Wiggins. 😂😂 Dude is just on the team. Does enough to say he doesn't suck but not much to winning culture. Yet every night and day people say Kuminga. Is it because he's from Africa? That said. Everyone knows Warriors playbook. That move the ball game needs to die. When Steph is on the court, people need to always believe he's going to shoot. That's what makes the other guys get open layups. Defenses have figured out that just hugging Steph will get him out of the play. Force the réf to make a call either way. Kerr also needs different playbook that works for his personnel. Play to their strengths. Not force them to play something that's already played out

Just trade Kuminga if Kerr is still going to continue to be the head coach. JK deserve to flourish and he can't find it with the Warriors, then it's better to release him. Nah JK is not ready to be the #1 option or the second option. You nitpicking a small sample of stats doesn’t prove anything. The warrior would still lose games. The problem was trying to rebuild while trying to contend for chips. Curry plays for the team more than for himself, Kerr need to have a consistent starting five with a reliable big or reliable shooting guard. Curry shouldn’t play the two, he’s naturally a one. Kerr needs to give up the “motion offense” and play a simple offense with curry having the ball more.

Who is the second option in OKC? Jalen Williams. From the time he was a rookie he got the opportunity to develop into an unquestioned second option. That's called player development. JK cannot be a second option if he is getting inconsistent minutes. He has the tools to be the 2nd option but has to have consistent minutes and defined role to flourish. That's a coaching issue, not a JK issue. He definitely can and should be the 2nd option in his 4th year unless you think like Steve Kerr.
