Im watching these videos since the Dime Drop. Kyle Mann makes the finest essays on Nba basketball out there and im stoked every time he drops a new one. Can't agree more what was said about Thompson here. Warriors definitely need the best version of Klay they can get come playoffs but the roster allows him to experiment and relax a little on defense until he gets his rhythm back. Like the beautiful game the Spurs once played, the Warriors offense is a beauty to watch when both brothers are splashing and watching the Wolves game yesterday I'm confident they are right on track.

Klay is my absolute favorite player. A big reason for that is because of how underrated he is. We’re talking about a shooter on the level of Stephen Curry, and on occasion shown to be a level even above Steph in the playoffs. Off the dribble, off the catch, from the wing, from the corner, and Klays deadliest shot, the in transition 3. His jumper is pure money, from anywhere. And before his injury, he would lock up the opponents best player and then go down the court in transition and hit a lightning quick dagger 3. He’s not some role player, the guy is a bona fide superstar and you can’t tell me otherwise. The best players in the league always show up in the playoffs and Klay did that for 5 years straight (2015-2019)

Gah damn! I'm super impressed with the analysis, the variety of ideas, and the beautiful narrative that you guys constructed. Flowed really well, very creative. Great work! I feel like the Warriors still need elite 2 point isolation scoring (e.g. Embid, Lebron, Kawhi, Middleton/Giannis) in tough playoff games where everybody is pouring their souls into defensive intensity and focus, essentially limiting the effectiveness of off-ball actions. I wouldn't be surprised to see Draymond finding Golden State players perfectly covered and him having to hero-ball his away into difficult floaters and drives. I know that Curry is working on a wider mid-range game, so that will be fun to watch.
