I can imagine the scene in a TV show with this Track Warhammer 40K: Gathering Storm, season 3 finale. After spending a season on the fall of cadia, a second season on the Macragee crusade, and guilliman's revival, and most of the third on the Terran Crusade and the Battle of Lion's Gate, its the final minutes of the final episode. Guilliman is walking through the palace towards the sanctum. instead of the gleaming golden halls, we see an increasingly decrepid and wire filled corridors. The screams of draining psychers fill the walls, those unlucky souls who are consumed by the Emperor every day. Pieces of ancient tapestries lay on the floor, erroded statues line the walls. At times Guilliman swears he hears voices speaking to him, whispers that sound too much like his father to be hallucinations, echos of a soul now split in a million pieces. By the time The Primarch-reborn reaches the throne, pearch high on a small ziggurat, the palace is not but a room of burnt black walls and massive electrical wires leading to and from the Golden Throne. Atop the ziggurat, its tiles burned black by a millennia of psychic power, sits the Emperor. No words are said in the final few moment of the episode, simply Guilliman looking up into the empty eye-sockets of his dear father. He reaches the foot of the ziggurat, but some force stops him from moving further. Instead, he kneels, against his own will, and his mind burns as he hears a single sentence, embued with immaterial might, resonate from the throne. They are not normal sounding words, instead they sound like they are spoken from a hundred mouths at the same time, all in different tones and volumes: "My creation, there is much to do" There is no hope as the screen cuts to black and then the credits. The Emperor is not the resplendant god the other characters have held him to be. The flashbacks of the Emperor Guilliman had in the rest of the season mean nothing. He is a rotting corpse, and there is only war.

Would certainly be a surprise and suitably grimdark! Thanks for listening and glad you found the music inspiring, great to hear what you imagined when you heard it!

The Emperor is not a mere rotting corpse. He is a deity. Denying it is just denying the obvious. Any being that can manipulate reality to his level cannot be considered a mere mortal, a mere man, there is simply too much power in him even in his half death state. His physical presence might be a rotting corpse, but his truly spiritual power is unfathomable, able to project his mind almost anywhere and to trigger warp storms that can consume entire sectors. He is a fragmented, broken God, but a God nonetheless, and one that even the Four Powers of Chaos are deathly afraid of. He is.. Anathema.

The Lord Inquisitor was easily your best piece, with the piece from the Grey Knights teaser a close second. Shame that never led anywhere.

I would say, after seven month and only 115 upvoted I can conclude that this great piece of a soundtrack is totally underrated. It should get much more upvotes and should have passed the at least 5K mark.

Hard to improve on awesome, but I will give it a try, ready ? Lyrics to be in High Gothic er Latin. Redo Lord Inquisitor Lyrics also in Latin celibrating the Emperor's ascension to godhood since the story takes place on Ascension Day While I am at it. How about redoing the music for Richard Boylan's 40K masterwork HELSREACH. That is a small part of my wishlist. Thank you for all you do.

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the music! The image is A.I. generated - and then I did some extra editing myself! There’s a lot of amazing 40k artwork out there but I didn’t want to use any without permission, so just used this instead!
