I put 2.4 Forekasters front and rear on my bike and I’m really liking them. Only minor difference is that I went with dual compound on the rear and 3C Max Terra on the front. Part tire, part luck and probably part skill, but I cleaned a techy climb on them that I had never done in my previous 7 years of riding.

That sounds like a great combo! I think I'd really like moving this Forekaster to the front and running a dual compound one out back so I can get a little more loose. The 3C Max Terra is grippier than I hoped for actually haha Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! 🤙

Currently have a dual compound dissector in the rear and was thinking about switching to the new forekaster for faster rolling speed. Is the tire noticeably faster than the dissector or about the same? Like is it worth it for me to change out the rear?
@NickandKatieMTB2 ай бұрын
for me, it isn't super noticeable when riding upright. The Dissector cuts into the ground better when you really lean the bike over whereas the Forekaster has better mid-lean grip. Hope that helps.
@TristWallace2 ай бұрын
@ thanks! Did the forekaster ever stretch to its 2.4 claimed width or is it more of a 2.3 width undersized tire? Might just go with an aggressor for better rolling resistance if the forekaster is the same 2.3 width.
