Danny maude is a truly elite teacher that takes one or two simple thoughts to create a magical ending. Get the hands behind and extend your rear leg. Anyone can do this regardless of physical ability! A teacher who can maximize the skill of the less gifted is the true guru. Keep up this true approach to the game.

Thanks Danny. I have added 100+ yards on my driver since watching your videos! I picked golf back up after not playing for 15 years. I have always had an abnormal swing that worked, when it worked. After months of embarrassing play at the driving range I decided to work on my swing and make the game fun and easier. It’s def worked thanks to your videos. I like the breakdowns and tips. Small changes to my grip and the orange whip really helped build some muscle memory. Thanks for the videos.

And 100+ yards is being generous to myself. I was hitting about 250 yards today repeatedly. When I started back playing last October I was lucky to hit the ball 75-100 yards with my driver.

Danny I think this is the best video yet and perfectly and simply describes the club movement and rotation. On Saturday in our clubs stableford event I was all over the shop, with only 12-pts on the front nine and 17-pts on the back nine for a total of 29-pts. That included pick-ups on 5-holes. When you clear the trail hip the swing becomes so easy and effortless. It took a bit of time to get things working. Once again the best video I have seen in such a long time. On Saturday I wasn't expecting much; coming back to golf after being layed up for three weeks with injury.

I'm an 80 year old golfer and thanks to you and your timing drills I'm better now than when I was 50. I can finally feel how the swing should feel. With the proper timing I can finally compress the ball and take a small divot after striking the ball giving me more power, extra spin with the irons and more control over stopping the ball on fast greens. And also, those 225 yard drives are nice too. Thanks again Danny.

Having seen this video, I can now see that I have been 'throwing the head', not the club (I don't mean literally throwing it down the fairway!) for years. I finally understand why I've been stuck outside the golf ball, hitting steeply down & across it & as you have said, having to make compensatory movements to get the club back on line. I'm xcited about putting this into practice when March 29th comes around.

Yes, but my problem is , that I come down from very high, and this can cause an approach, which can be too steep. If I look at your free swings without ball, you are swinging so effortless and very much around, but also quite flat, like hitting a baseball. But the golfball is down on the ground. If have to figure out my correct swingplane, otherwise I have an enormous loop in my swing

Another great and valuable tutorial Danny - your continued theme in recent weeks around ‘unlocking’ the lower body and swinging with more freedom by ‘letting go’ has really helped with my mindset. Hoping the theory can now be taken on to the golf course in a few weeks time to deliver positive results. My target continues to be consistency and to eliminate the significant variance in scores posted from round to round which can be as high as a dozen shots!!

Hi Danny ! You look in great shape. All fed up of this situation, I hope we will soon get out of this so that I can come and see you again this year. Been practicing the feet/heels drill released a month ago, really made a big difference. Voilà ! Take care, Raoul

Absolutely, by extending the trail leg it can help you create a better turn while at the same time providing momentum to swing the club upwards as well as around

Another fantastic teaching video, Danny! Temps are warmer here in the US, so I have gotten out to hit balls. Thank you!!

Started taking golf seriously last summer and your videos have been my go-to for everything. Many thanks. From playing once a year to 10+ rounds last year you've helped shave strokes and given me such better natural ball striking. I was wondering, after extending my trail leg how can I lead the downswing with my lead leg and hips without my hands and arms getting ahead of me? I know slowing down my arms is helpful but any tips on getting my hip-spiraling turn to be faster will be the missing piece to my understanding, thanks!

Now that was an eye opener... Naturally, I suppose, we would allow the club head to dictate on the backswing purely from a finding the slot comfortable position. The concept of throwing the head and handle back at the same time produces a whole new feeling that I found more controlled. I also felt that I had a stronger wrist position too. Thanks, Danny!
