It's a light-hearted comedy mystery show, I absolutely love it!!!! PLEAAAAASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!! It's funny and lovely character development right at the end of season 1 which is normal for a new tv show. The pairing is such a nice contrast, the characters are relatable for the most part. JOSH GROBAN is everything

Just saw the first season. I think I will describe the show as a bit goofy at times, not overly done on the cases, which is good. Not like CSI, being completely unrealistic. So, it is a bit of fun, but if you expect something that is to be pictured as a realistic cop show, this is not it. The male lead, I dunno. Josh's character is a littlebit over the top of being silly at times. Tony's character, ex-con cop with shady elements, cool enough, still a bit goofy. Monica's character, is probably the most important character to keep it all together. She is like the glue in all this. And she is frikkin hot.

I love B99, but it’s kinda unfair to compare this to B99. Yes B99 is funnier but it’s waayyy to comical for a cop series. The Good Cop has some funny moments but it’s not total comedy like B99. also not a heavy cop drama like Law & Order. It has a lighter tone for cop series and jazzy too which I really like. It’s kinda predictable at the beginning of each episode, you can easily guess who’s the suspect but there are some little twists for their motives. But I just love keep watching to see how turns out. Not an emmy worth I guess, but it’s worth binge watch a season in one night. Which I just did. I need season 2 now.

I watched the entire first season and though the comedy part is pretty much perfect (really made me laugh, not only grin, but laugh) the mystery part... Meh. There were like, 1 or 2 episodes at most that I hadn't figured out in about the first 10 minutes. Then again, yeah, it's probably not meant to be suuuuper focused on the investigation part, so... Besides some weird things that just go completely unexplained and some very predictable character and story developments, it's still a good show.
