Yeah, NS isn’t necessarily a telltale sign of a fake sheriff. If anything, it’s a tell of an old-school player who played Sheriff a lot when their message actually said not suspicious. There are people who fight over this on r/TownOfSalem to this very day, but I wouldn’t lynch based on that myself.

So pipe I had an idea about hex master getting necronomicon 2nd. From watching traitors of salem it struck me that what if all coven had a button at night that "dispels the necronomicon". It could be as simple as it is removed entirely or maybe for 2 or 3 days but I think from a strategic and social game point of view hex could anger his/her/xer coven if they dispel book. Also if cl died and book gets dispelled town would "know" there is a hex so you could gamble and be quiet but known-to-exist, suffering a much less penalty since killing every time u hex gives you less time and exposes you quicker in a role that suffers without stealth. Town could also infer that there is a fairly decent shot that hm is alone since poisoner and pm would beg hm not to dispel. So it could be a useful strategic tool as well as a way of fixing the worst part about being hm. Clearly there are plenty of deception plays a big brained coven could explore with this mechanic and would certainly be a great addition to being solo or duo with cl for instance. All non coven should get a message that the dark magic has been dispelled, or ... has been Dispelled. .. for now! Something like that depending on how the dispel mechanic would be implemented.

I just finished a game of Town of Salem and it ended on Day 3. The town consisted of 1 PB(DC'd), 1 Coven(Necro), 1 Mafia(Mafioso), 1 Pirate and 11 Townies lmao. I was vet who only gotta use one alert and I shot the lookout N1

Hey pipe. Quick question. I have several people who nicknamed me "throwing vet" but they never kept wills. At the end it was 2v1 and neither could post any dead chat. Looking back through the wills I couldn't find anything on either. So I voted who seemed to have the weaker claim. I hung the med. After the game everyone said "reporting vet" the GF claimed med first in chat. And the med claimed last second. Am I throwing or am I just unlucky. Odds are I missed something but I couldn't find anything Edit: to clarify I play classic until I feel comfortable with my knowledge of the game and roles
