Which means that pirating their music is, in fact, a way to get to teh Good Place? Also, if you listen to their music n youtube, but ther are advertisments,, hav you "paid" for it?
@Freakcheeks10 ай бұрын
@Bazookatone1 To answer your second question, no but actually yes. The point system registers unintended consequences, so if you watch an ad that leads to the red hot chilli peppers earning money, you should get points deducted due to this. Like how they explain that you can pick flowers and get points for it, but if you buy flowers from a company that mistreat its employees, you get points deducted due to unintended consequences. HOWEVER, the rule specifically states you have to PAY to hear them perform and watching an ad isn't actually paying because its not your money and youre not spending it. So because of the wording in this spefic rule you wouldn't get points deducted for this rule specifically but you would still lose points for it seen as clearly supporting the red hot chilli peppers in anyway is bad. The unintended consequences would apply due to the fact you watching the ad earned them money but that would apply for any ad from any bad company. Basically nit being allowed to watch ads on their videos is an unintentional rule due to the point system being outdated.

@spencergsmith3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to disappoint you, but we don’t all go where we think we go when we die. We are not the creators or masters of the universe, therefore we are not the judges of morality. God, who created the universe, including humanity, is the perfect standard of morality, therefore anything that falls short of that standard of perfection (which includes everyone) cannot spend eternity with Him because His holy nature cannot co-exist with sin. Thankfully, the Lord sent Jesus to live a perfect human life and sacrifice Himself to give us a way to be with God in heaven. All you need to do is admit you are a sinner, believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and repent of your self-centered life. None of us can do it alone, but Jesus can change your life and make you a whole new person. Then you will be assured of spending eternity in paradise after you die.

@spencergsmith3 жыл бұрын
@@JackVermicelli actually, no, there is no credible evidence for any of what you listed. Christianity IS different, both historically and in practice. Unlike all other religions, Christianity teaches that we are ALL sinners fallen short of God's standard of perfection, and since God is holy and cannot abide sin, we must be separated from Him for eternity. Since He is the source of all love and light, where evil will be forever quarantined -- often referred to as hell -- will be completely dark, lonely, and full of despair. Thankfully, Jesus came to bring us salvation by sacrificing His own perfect life as substitutionary atonement for our sinful lives. Believe if you want, or keep scrolling, but Christianity is vastly different than all other world religions. We aren't earning our way to heaven, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I don't think I am a good person. I hope I can get to a Medium place at the very least. But that might be a bit difficult. In real life I might be pretty decent, but some of these comments in other videos might serve as proof that can change at any time: -"I love when beautiful fictional minors (animated mostly) who are either innocent or pure hearted, or both when they're forced into a deep sleep/hypnosis state. (My pupil takes the form of a goat's as tears start forming in my eyes and a marveled wide opened smile is carved in my face) It's so beautiful to see their soft faces' reactions to the phenomenon ! (Inhales)" -"There is no way to predict when or which of these Ghouls (Fallout 2) are gonna turn, but we can't kill them either. Should we enslave them and take over their power station ?" -"I don't care if Jonh Doe becomes villain Joker, it's a necessary evil for the virus to get mass produced so Freeze can later turn it into a cure." -Mass Effect comments might take a bit too long to fully describe here. Basically I sabotaged the Genophage cure, betrayed Samara and chose either Synthesis or Control because of that Emotional shard I got from Javik; -"I don't think Amita really murdered Bashra and the country is poor. Therefore, I say use the drugs and put the children to work, as they'll one day take over the country once this generation reaches its end."; -"I think the cycle of hatred still holds its purpose in Naruto's world. My belief is a mixture of Orochimaru's and Pain's. And I pity anyone who doesn't feel anything but hatred for Madara."; -"Conduits are the next stage in our evolution. I will not sacrifice them to end the plague. Let the East Coast face its end. Then, we'll see what becomes of our race through out the world."; "Let's perform the "Genocide" route. There are still issues to resolve in which the answers do not lie in neither the neutral nor Pacifist ways.". Well, I think you get the main idea. There were good moments, obviously, that keep the scale balanced and keep me from being the Devil in person. I'm kinda like President Snow in terms that I refuse to be wasteful. That, and I stand against Kyubey's methods, as they do not come from logic anymore but rather from hubris. But I know the very thoughts themselves are a sign of my doom.

If you want to understand why you think certain things, or how to stop having thoughts like them, all I can suggest is not to do it so you can have a happy afterlife in "the Good Place." First off, (spoilers) you do realize that season 1 isn't telling the 100% true lore of how the afterlife works in this show, seeing as Michael is pretending to be a good place architect when they're really in the bad place and the whole season's events were designed so the main characters could all be tortured or torture each other? Like this test in particular is clearly meant to be entirely things that Jason has done, because Michael does actually have Jason's real file and the monk is a made up character to torture Jason by making him pretend to be this fictional monk. Secondly, the show makes the explicit argument later on that unintended consequences to actions makes it impossible for humans to be good. My own examples: Buying a piece of clothing isn't a harmless action, for example, because the clothes were made in a sweatshop. Drinking milk is immoral because cows suffer, but drinking almond milk is also amoral because mass almond farming hurts bees. The show raises the point that our modern world isn't made up of harmless little things, but things that ultimately have a bad affect on the world (but it's one people don't see, so they can't make decisions based on those consequences).
