@@jdmlang9633 Hyfield contracts with new grads! The straight trucks require at least a Class B CDL and no experience is required. Endorsements aren’t required but the can increase revenue. Yeah, i think the most important thing about truck driving, in ANY truck, is learning how to control speed on a downgrade by setting the cruise control and managing the RPMS. Once you get the idea of it, doing quick math in your head, considering weight, grade steepness, traffic levels, road conditions, etc. You just do it without having to even think about it after a little while. I cant imagine trucking and not having cruise control, for many reasons. The paddle engine brake is fine but feels more sloppy, you cant dial in control of your descent as well that way. And of course you NEVER use the regular brakes, except MAYBE bobtailing. Good video.

I drive 53 foot tractor trailer but was considering buying a van, however driving what you guys do isn’t out of the question, my wife is Filipina and we are currently working on her visa and she will be traveling with me once here, as you can see in our videos I travel back and fourth to the Philippines. We want to continue our adventures on the road here in America, and I hear panther is decent and watching some of the videos from the company your leased too looks very promising and the equipment so not opposed to that either.

Hyfield does only work with established teams. Not sure if your wife would be getting her CDL or not. There are some Fleet schools owners that do solo.

Panther does not provide the cargo van, straight trucks, or tractor trailer. You would have to find a fleet owner that has their vehicles signed on with Panther. Do you have a teammate?

Petivoyager our fleet owner, Hyfield Trucking, finances their trucks. We get 40% (20% per person) of what the truck grosses. As a team there is potential to gross $100k per year. We do love doing this job together. 🧡🚚

I’m quickly seeing that there is a huge difference in class A OTR channels and expedited channels. For some reason expediters are not able to make videos that stay on topic. It winds up being about everything else and around 4% about work. This is incredibly frustrating because there is no where to find content that entails real world information and experience to see if this is a good fit or not.
