The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Interchanges in Cities Skylines 2

Today's installment of the Cape Lomond series in Cities Skylines 2 will cover some interchanges (yaass!). I'll guide you through how to create a big custom Turbine Interchange with curved highways as well as a couple of variations of the diamond interchange.
As I plan for city expansion, these upgrades, along with a new highway expansion should help fix traffic problems before they arise, as well as giving some clear infrastructure lines to build off and grow from, later down the line.
This video will guide you how to recreate these builds in your own city simulation. I'll be using mods to create this area today. If you want to see my updated mod playlist, I keep it updated on the discord as it's the easiest way for me to share it as things stand.

Everything just seems so easy and simple when you made this but not for me but I will keep on studie your builds and maybe I will crack the code and get my roads to work and look as good as it can. Thanks for this turbine its just so great.

It's just practice. Try picking an interchange and build it 3 or 4 times. You'll be surprised what you pick up and improve on with each version, also, you'll notice that you'll be getting much quicker each time. 😊👍

Turbine is very smooooth... but lacks the chaos of the M8/M73 mega-junction at rush hour. Where's the fun in that? ;o) Oh, and for grubby/decaying building detailing Maxen just release a very nice set of crumbling wall and rust staining decal packs.

Yep, definitely needs more roundabouts 😂 I saw them decals, they look 🤯🤯🤯 I'm heading away for the week today but they'll be getting downloaded as soon as I'm back. Maybe not bad timing to get away with the patch coming tomorrow 😂

I was excited to see if the partial roundabout interchange would be in this video! It's a simple twist to the common Parclo A4 interchange but with the benefit of not having any traffic signals and maintaining progression along the arterial (since only off-ramp traffic has to yield at the roundabout). kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWnOYpSZgcp-bac

The diamond interchange you hate needs an on ramp flipped. One way is going the wrong way

Привет. У меня это не работает. Когда я пытаюсь разместить кольцевую развязку, она привязывается к узлу. Я не могу разместить его свободно. Когда я пытаюсь использовать инструмент преобразования, он, к сожалению, ничего не делает. Я предполагаю, что это работает для вас из-за пользовательских ресурсов, которые вы используете. ​@@piccana_ Все работает, моды у меня практически те же что и у вас. Попробуйте как на примере, не размещайте на краях дороги а сделайте узел по центру и там разместите круг. MoveIT, да, не работает в этом случае, но инструмент преобразования работает.

Да, у меня есть узлы. он всегда фиксируется на узле. Я пробовал ставить с включенной и выключенной анархией. инструмент преобразования просто не работает. хаха, я не знаю почему. я поместил дерево, просто чтобы посмотреть, работает ли инструмент преобразования, и все в порядке. У меня нет никаких пользовательских ресурсов, но я увидел в вашем видео кое-что интересное. Я собираюсь посмотреть, как пользовательские ресурсы сочетаются с игровыми патчами, и, возможно, познакомлю некоторых с городом :)
