I clicked on this thinking it was Donald Fagen but stayed with it and it turned out to be excellent. Not the easiest of songs but Gene Miller certainly did it justice and the musicians/ singers were spot on. Very well done.

A brilliant cover of this marvellous composition! I have always admired Fagan's skill in creating a whole world with just some simple words: the American, friend of the Batista regime, who stays in Cuba just too long and is surprised by Castro's revolution, which will probably cost him his life.
