Good shave Geo, I have that razor and love it, it’s the only razor that shaves mildly for me but is as efficient and close shaving as an aggressive razor 👍😊

I am biased as I am Italian... I own it, it's a beauty, very mild for everyday shaving. Not super deep but you can shave in 5 minutes if you want

Really enjoying the Bic Astors, very smooth and plenty sharp. This razor seems to show a striking resemblance to the Henson razor, especially the cap, the difference being it is Stainless steel and appears to be double the weight. Great video as well! Cheers from Nova Scotia…MikeR.

Am I crazy or does that head design look a little like a Henson? More squared than rounded, blade support goes very close to the end of the blade. Check comparison shot at 1:59. Looks like a real nice razor.

Great review on the Goodfellas Smile Syntesi. I like the idea that it has a low profile head. Shallow making it easy to get under the nose. This is similar to the Razorine FlatBoy. The shaving angle being more a 45 degree instead of the 30 degree angle. I also like the use of the newer Bic Astor blade. I got some and found that they are pretty good and still inexpensive. As always, Fantastic Job! You’re a Legend man, we need to get you to 100k… 87k for what all you do, isn’t enough! I read on their page that it’s a 45° Angle.. that’s supposed to be the sweet spot. Not sure if you went there, or if you just stayed at the 30°. They say it’s great for headshaving to🤷🏼‍♂️

Geo I just used mine at a 45° angle and I’m BBS.. I will say it’s a closer shave than I expected as in “maybe a little too close”😮 nothing that my Alum shave stick from ShaveNation couldn’t handle. Just a slight zing or two😅

@@bobjones8321 just a “smidgen more of a tilt” than 30°🤣. Their site tells you to use 45° angle with the Syntesi, you may be better served to get advice from them🤷🏼‍♂️ It does make a huge difference with this razor. Not all razors are the same.. at first I tried the 30° pitch just to see the “why”. There is significant more blade feel at that angle.. (not undoable) but they built it for 45° use.

Hello Geo I am using my wifes channel I just got my new henson shaver, shave bowl and shave cream from Sam at Shavenation so far so good but there is a learning curve on the Henson regarding the angle of the Razor???? The bond street shave cream in Lavender smells great I am glad to be a customer of Shavenation and GeoFatBoy. Stuart Brandt Naples Florida.

I love those blades! I tried the Bic Astor and Bic Chrome Platinum in identical Gillette Techs, and couldn't tell them apart at all. Bics are replacing Nacet for my main blade.

That's also available in aluminium a d my shaving assistant said the aluminium version shaves better as it's more manoeuvrable

Some KZbinrs use Dawn to shave. I would not use it. I use liquid soaps for shaving sometimes and use them to wash my body. I wash my face with liquid soaps before shaving.

Hey geo i have a challenge for you how about you shave with a very cheap safety razor like viking razors. I bought one of their adjustable ones and it tore my face up. Sent it back of course and bought what you recommended and havent looked back :)
