I was just at all of these places on Father's Day (as a surprise from wife/son) and was 14 in 1985 (same as a lot of the Goonies). Loved every moment of this trip! And, we even re-enacted some of the movie scenes; especially at Ecola. Thank you for showing this!

One of my all time favorite movies. There’s a great reunion “zoom” video with Josh Gad that was done at the beginning of the pandemic. Definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen it!

Great vid. I have also made a few videos up there. I was lucky to see the football field before it got torn down. One goof I'm sure you probably know. Datas house is actually right next to the walsh's house. Fun video nevertheless.

Also I noticed the sign mentions how this is where Kindergarten Cop was filmed. Interesting!

Yes! The parking lot for that park was the festival scene in kindergarten cop and other film locations from the movie in Astoria nearby.

Does the Jeep have the bullet holes in it? I'm surprised they'd keep it out in the elements. I hope they cover it at night!

The Jeep Is actually a replica built by a fan for the museum. One of my other KZbinrs went for a ride in It with the Curator and he explained about the Jeep In detail.

Also Data's house was to the right of Mikey's house you can see the window at the top of the house when your viewing the front porch where Chunk did the truffle shuffle, The did a cut scene.

How were you able to see the house? There once was a no trespassing sign at the bottom of the hill saying you can't go up to the house.

There’s a new owner of the home. She is very welcoming and has a donation box with a Venmo QR code out front.
