The Goslings - Golden Stair Cover

theres always some watering down, going from the song to my arrangement, then to what I end up actually learning/recording, but this song had another degree of it. the difference between my arrangement and what I play is astounding. burnt out on goslings covers, hard to take the time to learn my arrangements properly, half this cover is improv. gonna give myself much more time for haruspex, gonna reduce the watering down from what its been so far on the other goslings covers
its just crazy, comparing the potential skill showcase possible in a cover, with what most covers are. but then, who wants to spend more than a couple hours on a cover.
a few months ago, after Croatan, I came up with an arrangement for this song including drums, plus whatever else I could (bass, synth), but it was super hard to memorize and play. Got burnt out on the song tryna learn that arrangement, so came back now, with this simple, guitar-focused cover
this is definitely the hardest grandeur of hair song because: much less repetition than their other songs, constant texture work going on, unusual song structure for goslings (meaning, played much different to other goslings songs, especially in terms of note selection)
