Dr.Fruchtenbaum has been a mentor to me through his books. He is without a doubt one of the most sound Bible teachers I know of. He is such a blessing and his teaching is so clear. Men are always trying to add something to the Gospel of salvation which puts a yoke back upon them.

Hi I had the privilege of sharing my testimony of salvation with Dr Arnold at Camp Shoshanah in 2011. The moment that I was told that I was a sinner but forgiven through Christ's Death, Burial and ressurection I knew instantly within a Blinking if any eye, that I was saved and heaven bound for eternity. To be convicted of my sinful default nature, but forgiven for eternity by the past finished works of Christs death, burial and resurrection simultaneously is the most beautiful experience one can ever experience. The revelation of truth is definitely a doubled edged sword that pireces the hard Hart at lightning speed. ❤

Amen brother. Can relate. Happened to me, too, in a lightning fast instant when I first understood, first believed the simplicity of the Gospel and the enormity of exactly what Jesus did. All sin for ALL humanity for ALL time paid, in that single act, that sacrifice on the cross by God's own Son and the King of kings. ..John 19:30, Hebrews 10:10-14.

So much of today's incorrect teachings could be corrected if people actually looked to the Jewish roots and the Jewish context of the bible. His teaching on methodical bible study is also excellent. Many years ago I went through Evangelism Explosion training to share the gospel. One of the things I learned was to help a person understand what it means to believe. One point is that it is not mental assent. The example given was that demons recognized who Jesus was, and James You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. - James 2:19 I also liked to use Romans 10:9-10 to explain true belief. that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. - Romans 10:9-10 Dr Fruchtenbaum mentioned trust when describing belief, but I guess my training made me wish he said more.

Seems too easy, but if we are you believe the Bible in its entirety and that it is inspired by the the Holy Spirit then who am I to make additions to the gospel? This really opened my eyes to how wrong we are doing things here in our churches and doing the gospel a great disjustice. Lord help us to do it right.

I think the problem is that too many people have added too many things over the years which has muddied the waters and hidden the true gospel. Once you throw away the heresies like it all being about enhancing our life on earth, you are more likely to focus on the main thing, which is the TRUE gospel and the spreading of it tot he glory of the Lord.

@@KnowMyFaith Agreed. However even I'm thinking of how John the Baptist and the apostles evangelized....they differed as well in their preaching. John the Baptist said to repent, Peter said repent and be baptized, Paul outlines 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 as the gospel and Jesus simply said to believe He was the Son of God....I'm gonna go with Jesus and Paul, because many unbelievers don't even know what sin is...I mean they have an idea of the major ones (murder, lying, stealing, etc...), but it's during the sanctification process that they really become aware. I think the major sin (singular) of the unbeliever is the sin of unbelief, because a change of mind of who Christ is has to happen.

So are you saying that we are all saved by grace as long as we believe he is our messiah and we believe he died and resurrected for our sins? Does this mean we do t have to abide by any of the commandments?

Thanks for your question Christine. If you check out some of our podcasts and teaching videos you will find fuller answers, but essentially as believers it is more a case of 'wanting' to obey as opposed to 'having' to obey. If you feel you 'have' to obey the commandments to be saved then the blood of the Messiah is redundant.

I very much enjoyed this video and I do believe exactly what he's saying about what we must believe to be saved where my dispute arises is because he does not mention what Abel was told about the sacrifice with the lamb because we know from the New Testament that Jesus called Abel a prophet we know that God spoke to Abel and explain these things to him what he must do for a sin offering and I believe he gave the same explanation to Cain in Genesis Chapter 4 verses 6 and 7 the word sin as it appears in verse 7 in the Hebrew is also sin offering which put in context with God's explanation to Cain makes perfect sense that he was explaining that a unblemished lamb must be used and sacrificed for a sin offering if one has done bad the scripture actually reads and if you have done bad then a sin offering Waits outside your door and his desire will be to you and you must sacrifice him I am not trying to change the words but simply to translate so that we can understand and I know that this was a very important thing to understand because of how all the corrupted versions besides the KJV have literally changed the words of this scripture the New Testament clearly shows that Abraham was taught the gospel by God and he was well aware of the sacrifice procedure initiated from Abel so although I believe that from the New Testament on this man is 100% correct I do not believe that he fully understands that the Old Testament Saints from Abel we're shown about the Lord's death that would occur and that the sacrifices were satisfactory as a shadow of what must be but I really did enjoy his video God bless you

If one were saved by not knowing nor believing, then what is the point of evangelism? Also, Apostle Paul answers the question concerning those who have not heard the gospel. They have their conscience, and creation to convict them. This is why the great commission is to take the good news to the ends of the earth, that they might hear, repent and believe.

Thus the Holy Bible of which Jehovah God is the one Author was completed by means of his witnesses, even as it had begun by means of them. Consequently, with no room for allowed for Scriptural contradiction, it may be said that The Holy Bible is the Book by Jehovah's witnesses. As Revelation 19:6 exclaims, "Hallelujah!"

John, double check you indoctrinated beliefs. "Jehovah" is not the author of scripture. Nor is "Jehovah" the inspiration of the writers of scripture. It is the Spirit of Christ who inspired the prophets. "Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, WHO PROPHECIED OF THE GRACE THAT WOULD COME TO YOU, searching what, or what manner of time, THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST WHO WAS IN THEM was indicating when HE TESTIFIED BEFOREHAND the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow." 1Pet.1:10,11 The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. And I fell at His feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren WHO HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS. Worship God! FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY." Rev.19:10 "Jehovah" did not "author" the Bible, nor was it his spirit that inspired the prophets. It was the Spirit of Christ who was in them, by which they prophecied. None of the teachings of Watchtower can be found in scripture.

@@mattmurdock2868 Why did God choose to author a book to communicate with the human family? That God did so, we read in these words: "All Scriptures is inspired of God." (2 Tim. 3:16) And the prophecies contained in those Scriptures were "at no time brought by man's will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit."---2 Pet. 1:21. But all this was to be expected, since the Bible came to us "not as the word of men, but just as it truthfully is, as the word of God." (1 Thess. 2:13) So today, for the faith of those who sincerely desire to worship God correctly, we have God's loving provision of he book that he authored, which is "a lamp to my foot, and a light to my roadway."----Ps. 119:1105.

@@johncolage1651 Another false teaching from Watchtower, not found in scripture. The Spirit is not the "active force" of God . The active force of God is "The Word." Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! @@mitchellc4 I agree with a lot of what you are saying here. One thing to consider is this: when Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse, He hadn’t yet instituted the new covenant nor had He died, been buried and resurrected. So, when reading carefully, could the gospel of the kingdom be something different than the gospel of salvation through the final blood sacrifice of Messiah? Indeed, all throughout the Old Testament, a Messianic Kingdom is prophesied. It is described as a literal kingdom, which will be centered in Jerusalem and ruled over by Messiah. It will be characterized by global peace, restoration, long life, near perfection, peace between man and the animal kingdom, and the Jews dwelling permanently and securely in the their land never being afraid of being removed or destroyed again, forever. It’s a very detailed and specific group of promises from God that are unconditional, given through the various covenants He made with Israel. So keep that in mind. God promised all of that to Israel based on His faithfulness, not theirs. So in the gospel accounts, prior to Jesus death, Jesus preaches and teaches that the “kingdom is at hand”. And in that He means all of those things promised to Israel that I just listed. He makes many references to those promises which is how we know what the context of His teaching about the kingdom was. After Israel rejects Him as Messiah He stops saying the kingdom is at hand, and begins describing a postponement of the kingdom. Their rejection would prevent the kingdom offer from being received by that generation, as Jesus repeatedly states. *(think the desert wandering. Because of a lack of faith on the part of the majority, the children of Israel were made to wander the desert until that whole faithless generation had died and a new generation was raised up: 40 years. The new generation entered the promised land through Joshua [Who was a “type”, or illustration, of the person of Yeshua] That whole story is a typological illustration of the final generation of Jews who will inherit the Messianic Kingdom) Now after Jesus had died, been buried and resurrected He gives His disciples the command to go out into all the world and preach the gospel. He doesn’t say “gospel of the Kingdom.” In order to understand what He was saying we have to read Acts. Here in Acts 1 the disciples, who had just spent 40 days with the resurrected Jesus as He taught them about the kingdom, ask Him a telling question, and He gives them a telling answer: “To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God….So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”” Acts 1:3, 6-8 After 40 days of teaching specifically about the kingdom of God, what question did the disciples ask? Did they ask, “Oh Lord, now that you’ve taught us that the kingdom is really the church, what does that mean?” Or, “Now that Israel has lost out on the kingdom, what will it look like?” No. They ask “Will you NOW restore the kingdom to Israel?”. And He answers “It’s not for you to know when that will happen.” And then He tells them to wait for the Holy Spirit, and that they will be His witnesses in Israel and also the whole world. Witnesses of what? That’s what the whole book of acts is about. They never preach the gospel of the kingdom in acts. They preach the gospel of the resurrected Messiah for salvation in acts. It’s a different gospel on the sense that it’s a phase of God’s plan to bring in the kingdom (which is still going to be as it was promised, centered in Israel with the Jews living in a permanently restored land), but in addition to that, the church will be there as well, in our glorified, eternal bodies ruling and reigning over the whole world as representatives of Messiah. Does that make sense?
