I love how she touched him, looked him in the eyes and said, “Wait a minute do not interrupt me.” without putting any value on her feelings about it and her saying that was a enough for him to smile, submit, respect and oblige the boundary. Later on he said, “I know she’s got my back.” This alone convened how they feel about each other. That there’s such a level of trust and kindness that any interaction is self development, not a personal attack or slight.

3:00 One of my favorite things that I’ve noticed all my children do when they observe my husband and I loving each other is this: Anytime my husband and I hug each other in front of them, they immediately come up to us, wrap their arms around us too, and it becomes a huge family hug. They are absolutely drawn to the love they see. They did this when they were very young, and now they still do it as teens. It’s incredible to watch how one simple expression of love between husband and wife can draw the kids in and make them feel so secure. Okay, onto the rest of the video! 18:00 😂 💯

As a couples’ therapist, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with the Gottmans. I feel like it humanized them. We got the best of both worlds. The science of marriage and real life experiences. Great interviewer! Thank you.

I love this! I watched you on Olivia’s so wrong its right podcast and you spoke about networking and used an example of it you wanted to start a podcast and I remember thinking I know this is an analogy but I really wish you would.. And now you have 🎉 I love how you stop during the pod to give more information and practical tips: Bridging the gap between relatating (the what) and then practical steps to move forward (the how - which is often not available!) I love this!! ❤
