As a 51 year old women, watching this has made me want to seek help for all the same issues that you've discussed with Pete. And it does help having you Paul and Pete to look at 😁

The best conversation so far! Pete has been the most sincere, non performative guest you’ve had on. Which makes it so much more valuable and interesting !!!

Great show and Pete, we all make mistakes and bad decisions in our lives but you are open and authentic in who you are and that is refreshing in this world today. You are growing with your experiences and that’s all any of us can hope for.

This was the episode I never knew I needed to hear. I’ve just lost my grandad, he was such a profound person in my life, I have been living in this numb bubble. I do sit with my dogs, but listening to this has made me rethink if I do need to get some help.

My mum also had an attempted suicide, by overdose of prescription medication and I also found her. Believe it or not, I went from feeling exactly how Pete felt at the time to knowing I was enough, because she knew I would find her. Instead of hating her for that, or blaming myself- she knew she would be safe with me and I would know what to do. It's not RIGHT. But it happened and the journey to recovery for her was long and hard, but it was HER burden never mine to carry and forgiveness for myself and to her was healing ❤

Folks normalize porn. Mostly girls from poor families / porn is PAID sex - That’s prostitution and its addiction. Family /relationship destroyer. Would any of you be happy is your daughters (or sons) were on Only Fans? Why not? Ok for other people’s daughters? Wow.

I have to say Pete Wicks is such a surprising and real person. I've only ever seen the media hype which we all know is about as real as Santa Claus but during strictly I just thought what an amazing human. My Mrs drools occasionally watching him and I have to admit I understand why now as there's FAR more to this person they just blue eyes and devastating good looks (jammy sod!). It's been a pleasure to watch this episode . Thanks Paul and Pete 🙏🙏🙏🙏

At 55:10, I don't agree 'Reality TV' is real. Not 365 days a year real! The participants are plasticised, bleached, cosmeticised, surgically 'enhanced' to look like Barbia&Ken, to the point of being physically ugly, vacant and robotic. And the relationships side is forced and extreme(for voyeuristic TV audience). 'Got to perfom the sleazy act for the audience). Especially Love Island! It's too voyeuristic, plastic, bordering on soft porn indulgence. Almost 'Brave New World' ugly in trying to be 'perfect' but cold. We would much rather watch themes of real life, because it's not 'perfect'(no such thing).

Oh Pete, you were twelve! A child! You were never there to fix the adult's problems. You were just a kid, and your parents problems had nothing to do with you. The problems were there before you were born.

As a London woman, with 2 sons, and old enough to be Pete's mum, and from similar families, and who has always had rescue dogs in the family(demographic audience eg.) I feel Pete's grounded happiness with family, childhood, dogs. I never knew much of Pete before his Strictly stint. I never watch any 'Celebrity' based shows and usually avoid any American media. I find those shows too plastic, empty and never entertaining. But, 'Strictly' and 'For Dogs Sake' shows the kind man(and hidden boy), a big heart shining through Pete's eyes and his expressions. And to see Pete really relax(non posey) and show his shy, vulnerable side beneath the TV/model bravado, is wonderful. Pete has blossomed away from the 'plastic' crowd. He's the type of lovely man that makes you smile instantly and want to hug him. He's a gentle man. And I feel he's coming into his best grounded years, with his hindsight. I really think Pete should branch into British cerebral drama too? With a dog in the plot, of course, too. More Pete Wicks please.
