We are still here. We will not be erased. We will not be rejected or disrespected. The Great Spirit has a great way of making nations suffer from their own discrimination. Stop discriminating against Aborigine so-called black people who have lost their sense of who they really are, who have been brain-washed to call themselves African-American. You all know the truth. It is your duty according to the order of The Great Spirit to heal ALL of us from the trauma of the past by inclusion of EVERY native American not just the ones who look like you because the fact are that Mongloid people are not original people of Turtle Island, Aborigines are. @@nope6908 as someone from the former Spanish empire (Guatemala and El Salvador)….I have to agree though that the Spanish were miles better than the English in terms of not annihilating entire cultures. Indigenous words and elements remain strongly fused with Spanish and African customs in our cultures. A few examples Argentina and Uruguay’s national drink mate is indigenous (and they drink it everywhere), and many of the traditions of the rural gauchos were adopted from indigenous traditions (even though most people are genetically European in both countries) Mexico’s dialect of Spanish has hundreds of Native words and it’s cuisine is heavily based on indigenous foods including chiles, corn, beans and more (even Whiter Mexicans eat Mole and Tacos) Brazil’s version of Portuguese is very musical because of the intonation of the indigenous Tupi languages, the first natives the portuguese encountered, not to mention the indigenous foods that are key to Brazilian diet Paraguayans still speak Guarani, and about half of Bolivians speak either Aymara or Quechua. Cuban, Dominican and Puerto Rican people, whose ancestry is mostly Spanish or West African, mostly still use Native Taíno fishing and farming techniques, centuries later. El Salvador’s national foods including pupusas are sourced from indigenous foods, and our dialect of Spanish has many indigenous words (which makes sense the people are genetically half indigenous) And don’t even get me started on Guatemala….the Spanish didn’t “wipe out the native” in this country at all, it’s still very much alive.
