We learn to appreciate over time (1) testosterone and (2) being attractive to others. When we get older and no longer get as much attention, we tend to miss it. There was no threat here- they were not alone and the cameras were on. This was all an act. Martha pushed Mickey away & told him to leave her alone which he did. Jessica held her own & clearly did not need any help. Frail/sensitive people do not agree to appear on this show (which also apparently serves alcohol to its guests & encourages them to imbibe and to misbehave).
@8petaledpath9292 жыл бұрын
@@lawsoncabell This wasn't acting, it was sexual harassment. Everyone on that panel opposite Rourke was uncomfortable and upset, including Norton. The truth is that the "threat" was very much present. His actions and obvious lack of judgment indicate that he could could have sexually assaulted either woman (kissing, groping, etc.) at any time. Just because he didn't doesn't mean that the threat wasn't there. Just because you don't take the situation seriously and want to minimize it, rather than admit something inexcusable happened, doesn't mean that the threat wasn't there. Jessica may have maintained her composure, but the whole reason Rourke didn't escalate beyond what he did is very likely the direct result of Graham continuously calling out his creepy behavior and signaling his support for Biel. In other words, when a woman is being sexually harassed she does need support and help.

How Jessica Biel looks at him - he just looks broken. You can just see that he is a troubled human being and it is unfortunately awkward to have him around when Norton of course is all cheery and his guests are exclusively people who have great and successful careers. you know - happy people. I wouldn't blast Rourke like some commenters do here - there are a lot of people like this in the world. Troubled, who failed at one thing, or another. I'd actually say most people are like that.

Lol 25:11...when he shook her hand... Literally the most perverted celebrity handshake caught on camera...they quickly cut off to a picture of him right before we can see Jessica's reaction to it..

I’m sure Mickey Rourk’s manager brought him back to reality after this. I doubt any show will want him on now.

I don’t think anything shown here was all that bad, except at the end with Martha, but there was clearly editing that happened and things before the show perhaps. Graham pulled Biel aside before she sat, then he made comments from the get go about chaperoning, when he went into the audience he checked on her, etc. Clearly he knew Rourke was drunk and had already crossed the line, would’ve been nice to get the full backstory though. The only thing Graham ever said about this was that Rourke got out of his car with a Jack Daniels bottle and that he kept smoking during the interview which was exhausting

It’s interesting how Rourke - and others before him, unnamed here - enter and excel in “the business” lacking the true savvy to see in many ways what it is. They then thwart their own success, unfortunately. She handled Rourke with such grace, such poise. Well done.

Made it to 4:45 and had to stop -- I could already tell that this is going to be awkward as hell the entire interview, and I'll have to finish this at another time when I won't feel compelled to cry for Jessica....
@Ch0cHead4 жыл бұрын
tideoftime it did get quite bad yup. The thing is, because it's public, she'd have felt a little more stuck than if this had happened without the pressures of an audience and a chat show. Your brain tells you you can't just walk off and cause a scene, even though he was the one causing the scene and she'd have been justified if she did choose to walk.

there keeps being shots where Jessica is wearing black fluffy handcuffs and then she's not in the next, I bet the unedited version must be incredibly more cringe worthy than it already is.

Oh man awkward and fun to watch at the same time. Also , did the uploader edited this video? or was that done by the Graham Norton show producers? They clearly edited some things out (to make is less awkward I quess)

I don't care what anyone says- Mickey Rourke is a rockstar
@hpoonis2010Ай бұрын
I don't think he has sung ANY songs let along rock ones. So, although you don't care, the man is a mediocre actor and a first-class sleaze.
