I think her 'humility' is staged, I'm afraid. I have nothing against her; but I think she caters to the crowd a bit...
@ffreshfields5211Ай бұрын
@@xavieryates9782 I see what you mean. There is some element of being nice and being at her best behaviour in order to be liked by others. And it looks a little bit like having an ego/front. Though I would put this down to low confidence and self-doubt while being closely watched/a public figure, rather than having no genuine humility as a person. Some people don't know how to rely on just being who they are when interviewed and feel forced to "act out" who they are instead, because they are not confident enough to let go of a protective layer for the public. I don't think it means she has no real humility as a person or behind the scenes. A person who does not have a genuine caring heart would not do as much for people from the beginning as she does or be so genuinely touched by people or fans, and put a lot of time into reaching out to individuals to help make their lives better behind the scenes. Nobody would not know about this, if it wasn't for those individuals talking online about it. She also cares a lot about social justice. It is clear that she is someone with their heart in the right place. Over the years her confidence has grown and she is a lot more herself and more relaxed, more outspoken and real in current interviews, while simultaneously caring even more about social issues and equality than before. She also suffered an eating disorder for many years and has finally put on weight since 5 years ago. She is like the person she was before, only matured and without it appearing like a rehearsed presence but instead it being her natural expression and with a lot more character. So it think this is a case of a person who was very hard on themselves while also being in the public eye, who needed time to grow into their own skin more in public appearances without feeling they need to do any "acting" of who they are. She also talks about and admits that as part of growing up in the public eye she has psychologically struggled with not feeling like a real person. I hope she can fully overcome this because that doesn't sound fun at all and is often the curse of being famous since child or teenage years I guess. Imagine being seen in the media and performing so much as an actor/singer since a young age, that you feel a huge responsibility on your shoulders to be perfect as well as form an image of yourself in your head from all the footage you see of yourself, instead of just living your life in the moment with normal colleagues and friends like a normal person's everyday life. That would be a bit trippy, and would make learning to be confident enough to "be yourself" when speaking publicly, even more of a challenge than it is for people anyway. I think people's biggest enemy, psychologically, is to let go of self-judgment and to be completely in the moment without any defence mechanisms. Young kids are great at this. Older kids and adults, not so much.

Worst episode ever. I feel bad for Taylor and hope she never comes back to this man’s show.
