Awesome idea!! I personally went with a floor tom to bass setup to minimize space needed at a gig as well as a space saver while transporting. I just might try to put a cocktail kit together just to see if I like the feel. Great video! Cheers brother! 🍻 #minimalistdrummer

What size hats are those? Do cocktail drummers typically use full size hats? Lower volume cymbals? Very curious. Btw I just bought Pearl’s new “compact traveller” and realized it can work great as a cocktail style kit.. the snare mount it comes with is capable of positioning the snare very high as well.

Gary Duke I use 12-inch Zildjian 'Sorcial Recording" hats. The small size works nice. I also am using the bottom cymbal of a 14-inch hat for my 'ride' cymbal until I can find a better one that size. I asked this question before but I'm glad you updated! Wouldn't this kit not allow you to hit the hi hat and the kick at the same time? I'd imagine that position is awkward for your foot but if it isn't I'd love to see you play some hip hop grooves
