I have discovered your content today - and subbed. Im addicted to chappell roan reaction vids because her music makes me so happy and I love seeing how much everyone else agrees - which brought me to your good luck babe reaction. Full disclosure ive never heard of Raye but what you said about 2014 Raye reminds me of Troye Sivone tweeting about Chappell Roan in 2014. (To make up for how much i ride for chappell in this comment - i will go check out your raye reaction play list to learn about them) I lowkey agree with you about Billie Eilish - Hit me Hard and Soft especially Chihiro and wild flower. Omg, they sway my soul. This album it's my go to when im angry and need to chill out. The macabre vibe and journalesqe stream of conciousness lyrics are emoted perfectly with her equally delicate and passionate vocal control. Or I should say I agree up to a point; that point being the rise and fall of the midwest princess. Im biased as a queer woman, because at least half of chappells album speeks directly to gay expierences that feel so authentic that its almost a religious expierence listening to her album for the first time. My biggest regret this year is that i was living under a rock and didn't even hear if her until june 2024. My second biggest regret was waiting almost a full month before listening to her album. I agree Charlie and Billie should take best pop duo I kinda think birds if a feather will beat espresso, idk. I love both songs so i get it Producer - if Dan Nigro does not win i will be shooketh. He produced Chappell Roans album - seriously just listen to it abd youll agree. There are at least three objectively perfect songs on that album. (Imo There are actually 14 prefect songs.. but that's just me) Seriously why are you still reading this comment and not reacting to that album yet? Also, i kinda think gaga and bruno should win for their song Its a year packed with lendary pop music so the compitition is steep. I would make chappell sweep everything but that's not realistic. I will decide who wins best new artist in my mind after i give Raye a shot. Best album sounds be chappells imo. Its definitely number one on my list of top tgree albums of all time, followed by Abbey Road, and then the White Album by the Beatles. Idk, im ultimately just hoping for some great live preformances

@mmminno the fact I've only heard 2 songs from chappell and I adore her shows how amazing she is imo. But yes Raye is an underrated queen who deserves everything imo, hoping for some love for Charli from the grammys, like I hope she at least wins one category!! Very tough this year in a lot of categories so it's going to be a bit of a bloodbath 🤣 (and yes I did read it all ty 😘)

I think Raye should have had more nominations. Genesis is an amazing music video and was overlooked. Ridiculous! As much as I do love Charli XCX, I was surprised with the amount of nominations. Also surprised about Ariana Grande. On the positive side, I was really pleased for Beyonce 😊

Honestly, The Beatles should win the record of the year and best rock performance. Why? Because they recorded it since 1977 till 2023. It was demo of John Lennon at first in 1977, but then he was shot, and they wanted to continue making this song in 90s, but couldn't do it because they didn't have technologies like we have now. They used AI technologies for separating vocal track of Lennon and piano track, and they re-recorded it through decades. Probably, The Beatles would win because of the nostalgia and because they are the OG of the pop music industry. They are the most influential band and made a way for pop music. They are like the ancestors for such modern artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, etc., like if people call Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter as daughters of Taylor Swift, then The Beatles are the grandfathers of all the artists and bands from pop music industry.

I love Taylor Swift and TTPD is a great album in my opinion. I love it, however, there are songs/albums/music videos this year that are better than TTPD/ fortnight. I think Taylor will still walk away with a few grammys even tho other artists have put out fantastic albums. She is the Grammy's favourite but i dont think it's always fully deserved.

Song of the year is for songwriting and lyrics of the song and record of the year is more for the production of the song. brat is one of the worst albums i've ever listened to ever.
